Vehicle Detail
1950 Willys CJ3A exactly as I found it in a horse barn. I went to look at a 1971 LTD(which will be listed here soon) and found this as well. I was told that it was the Jeep originally came from Vermont. The caretaker for the property sold it to the owner in the late 60's. The never licensed it for the road. I asked why did they put turn signals on it then and was told that the owner would plow the cemetery next to the property as an act of kindness but almost had an accident once while turning, so they put the signals on. There was a very large cementery next to the property so it makes sense. I called Vermont DMV and was told that they do not issue titles to vehicles older than 15yrs just a registration. They told me to get the proper paperwork from them to get a title in PA would be 380.00 total. If I wanted to keep this that's what I would do, but I will leave that to you the next owner. This vehicle comes with a bill of sale. As you can see it really isn't to bad. I will let the photos speak for me. It comes with what you see pictured including the winch(never saw one like that before) and you can thank me for not including the HUGE amount of raccoon droppings and all the other droppings that were in this. It look like the original 6V system but I am no mechanic. The mice have chewed the wires pretty good. What you see is what you get. Nothing more nothing less. If you have questions please ask. If you need other photos please ask. I can only put so many on here but will send requested photos to prospective buyers. To all bidders good luck. I will help with loading. On Oct-06-15 at 08:07:58 PDT, seller added the following information: Hello everyone. I have been asked many times how is the frame. I assure you the frame is fine. I have photos but I can't put anymore on the auction. I can text the photos to anyone who provides me a number. Thanks again for your interest. On Oct-06-15 at 17:19:05 PDT, seller added the following information: Hello everyone. I have gotten many questions regarding the drag marks that you see in the photos of the Jeep coming out of the barn. Initially the wheels were frozen for about 10ft but the broke free and rolled fine. You will see in the photo of it going onto the trailer that there are no drag marks. I hope this information helps you all. Good luck bidding. On Oct-08-15 at 07:37:03 PDT, seller added the following information: I went out this morning with the correct socket and the motor is free. It wasn't sized. So there the final mystery is solved. Good luck bidding.
