For auction is this Sporty Classic Packard Convertible. Whether you choose to Restore it, Rod it, or Remount the body on a SUPER Eight chassis, you will be the envy of all who see you. The handsome classic Packard styling lines are in a class of their own and the convertible body just adds to the image. This car was stored in a barn since the early sixties in Winchester, Ct. and I believe was last driven on the road in the fifties. This car came from the factory well equipped with a strong 6 cylinder engine, overdrive transmission, radio, heater, and a power top. It is very complete. It is missing only a few minor details such as hubcaps and bumperettes. It has all the hard to find parts such as the complete top assembly including the three windshield latches and power cylinders, the seat frames and springs with adjustable tracks with handle, the in dash radio, the heater, all handles including the rare trunk handle/license light(not shown). The drivetrain is complete with the engine having been removed and completely remachined to standard. And of course, this is the same body used on the "Super Eight" Convertible so it could be used to rebody a super eight sedan. Please be aware this Classic does need a complete restoring. In addition, it would make a very handsome resto-rod with an engine bay that would hold a hemi! As this car is from the state of Connecticut it is not titled. ( Vehicles over 10 years old are not titled in that state) I would provide a notorized bill of sale. Please, serious buyers only.
