Vehicle Detail
Sold twice and it fell through twice. I'm sending it to auction now with a low reserve, so if you want a good truck this is the time to bid. But please have your finances lined up in advance, and read the specs (it's a 2WD truck). Thank you! Offered for auction is this one owner 2002 Ford F150 Lariat SuperCrew. I custom ordered this truck new late in 2001, and I received it in January of 2002. The finish is Oxford White with an Arizona Beige lower accent, and the interior is a Medium Arizona Beige Leather. There is a clear matching number title in my name ready for the new owner. This vehicle has never been in an accident, and it is a smoke-free truck. I've kept it regularily maintained through my whole ownership, and it shows. For the first 10 years I took it only to Ford dealerships, but when both of my local Ford dealers went out of business during the great recession, I started taking it to a local private garage for service. Whenever anything was needed it was taken care of, usually with parts from FORDPartsOnline. Just before listing this truck I took it in for an oil change and for one last inspection up on the lift, and it was pronounced ready for the new owner. Here is a list of accessories on this truck: 5.4L Triton engine; 3.55 ratio limited slip rear; Power Moonroof; Sliding Rear Window; Class III Trailer Tow Group; Leather Captains Chairs; Heated front seats; 6-Disc Remote CD changer; Lower two-tone paint; all of which totaled about $4,000 extra over the base Larit trim. Also added by me as soon as I took delivery were the King Ranch aluminum wheels with Arizona Beige accents, and the King Ranch front bumper lower air dam with built in fog lights - both purchased through Ford, and totaling over $1,500. This vehicle is ready for the new owner to drive. There is only one item that is not working, and that is the digital compass display on the overhead console - it died a few years ago. The air conditioning works fine, but it only works reliably on the MAX setting. While the truck was at a Ford dealer for a recall inspection I also had them check the a/c, and they said that the air conditioning clutch was acting up. They did not have one is stock, but they said that it was fine to keep running as-is, and to bring it back when it stops working. Well that was about 2 years ago, and it is still going strong. To allow the new owner to make this truck his/her own, I am taking about $2,000 off the NADA suggested retail price on this truck, so the new owner can get a fair deal, and I can still get a fair price. I already have a new 2015 Ram 1500 that I ordered new, and which replaced this Ford a few weeks ago. Please ask all questions before bidding. In person inspections are welcome, but since I work everyday it will have to be in the evenings or this coming weekend. In person pickup with payment will need to be in cash. A bank check or personal check will be accepted in advance of pickup/shipment, as long as there is time for the payment to clear. Payment should be received within one week of auction end, and pickup/shipment should be completed within one month of auction end. Sorry, no paypal as their fees are just too high. Good luck bidding! On Oct-01-15 at 14:58:42 PDT, seller added the following information: Reserve on the truck is only $4,0000, which is less than the dealer trade in value. I'd list it at no reserve, but then no one bids until the last 10 seconds, so it's just a long boring auction. Someone is going to get a very nice truck at a very fair price, so don't let the low reserve keep you from bidding. It if makes you feel more comfortable I can raise it! ;-)
