Let's try this again... Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auction is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is an exceptionally clean 1997 BMW 328i. The E36 chassis is, in my opinion, the best offering of the 3 Series from BMW. It is an excellent blend of old school reliability and modern refinement. I would rate the exterior of this 328i to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for its age and mileage. If you follow my auctions, you will know that I rarely give a vehicle the "excellent" rating. This is saved for cars that are truly exceptional and stand head and shoulders above others of similar age and mileage. This 328i is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and looks absolutely stunning. Save for maybe a scuff mark or two on the bumper covers (which is hard to fault a car or this age for), the exterior is nearly flawless. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. Pride in ownership shows throughout this BMW. All of the body moldings are intact and show well. The body lines are straight. There isn't as much as a spec of rust visible on the body of this car, which is remarkable as these cars are known to rust as they age. All of the original VIN tags are intact, which means that all of the panels are original to the car. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All the glass and lenses are intact. The original alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a matching set of rubber. The tires are nearing the end of their life and should be replaced before winter. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how exceptionally clean this BMW looks. I would rate the interior of this BMW to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The dove gray interior looks great against the Arctic Silver exterior. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and show well. The dash and headliner are clean. The leather seats (a $1,450 option) are soft and supple. As you should expect with a car of this mileage, the drivers seat is showing wear on the outer bolster. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The only thing I couldn't get to work is the radio. It doesn't want to turn on. There is a factory CD changer in the trunk. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works properly and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. This BMW comes with two keys, a full set of OEM floor mats, a full set of books and manuals as well as the original $37,820 window sticker! Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this BMW. The trunk is spacious and clean. The spare tire and jack are still present. Also in the trunk is the most complete tool kit I've seen in one of these cars in years. Mechanically, this BMW appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.8L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. I'm pretty sure the valve cover seeps a little, which is normal at this age. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The brakes and steering feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The only idiot light on is the airbag light. The check engine light was on. The code was for the front oxygen sensor "no signal". I cleared the code to see if it would come back. As of now, it hasn't...but I wanted you to be aware in case it does come back. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfectly with absolutely no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. This is an excellent example of what happens when a well made car is properly cared for by a diligent owner. If you've been looking for an exceptionally clean E36, this 328i deserves your serious consideration. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is an exceptionally clean 1997 BMW 328i. The E36 chassis is, in my opinion, the best offering of the 3 Series from BMW. It is an excellent blend of old school reliability and modern refinement. I would rate the exterior of this 328i to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for its age and mileage. If you follow my auctions, you will know that I rarely give a vehicle the "excellent" rating. This is saved for cars that are truly exceptional and stand head and shoulders above others of similar age and mileage. This 328i is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and looks absolutely stunning. Save for maybe a scuff mark or two on the bumper covers (which is hard to fault a car or this age for), the exterior is nearly flawless. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. Pride in ownership shows throughout this BMW. All of the body moldings are intact and show well. The body lines are straight. There isn't as much as a spec of rust visible on the body of this car, which is remarkable as these cars are known to rust as they age. All of the original VIN tags are intact, which means that all of the panels are original to the car. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All the glass and lenses are intact. The original alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a matching set of rubber. The tires are nearing the end of their life and should be replaced before winter. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how exceptionally clean this BMW looks.
I would rate the interior of this BMW to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The dove gray interior looks great against the Arctic Silver exterior. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and show well. The dash and headliner are clean. The leather seats (a $1,450 option) are soft and supple. As you should expect with a car of this mileage, the drivers seat is showing wear on the outer bolster. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The only thing I couldn't get to work is the radio. It doesn't want to turn on. There is a factory CD changer in the trunk. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works properly and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. This BMW comes with two keys, a full set of OEM floor mats, a full set of books and manuals as well as the original $37,820 window sticker! Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this BMW. The trunk is spacious and clean. The spare tire and jack are still present. Also in the trunk is the most complete tool kit I've seen in one of these cars in years.
Mechanically, this BMW appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.8L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. I'm pretty sure the valve cover seeps a little, which is normal at this age. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The brakes and steering feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The only idiot light on is the airbag light. The check engine light was on. The code was for the front oxygen sensor "no signal". I cleared the code to see if it would come back. As of now, it hasn't...but I wanted you to be aware in case it does come back. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfectly with absolutely no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. This is an excellent example of what happens when a well made car is properly cared for by a diligent owner. If you've been looking for an exceptionally clean E36, this 328i deserves your serious consideration. Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
