Vehicle Detail
67 Mustang FastbackYou may have seen this car here this past summer. The high bidder never made contact, therefore the sale never went through. So, if you bid and win, please follow through. I've owned this car for 35 years. It started out as a 289 2V car. I installed the 428SCJ in 1981. Over the years it's gone through many changes and upgrades. I was runner up at the 1984 Superford Nationals in Division III. I have had the floors replaced, and parts of the doors and qtr panels too. I replaced the hood with a fiberglass Shelby hood. The deck lid, front fenders, front and rear valences and parts of the engine bay have also been replaced. The car was last painted over 20 years ago, therefore it does have a few scratches and chips, but still looks pretty good. There is no rust that I am aware of in the body or frame. The car has been sitting in the garage for over 12 years, and will need to be checked out thoroughly. The oil and filters have been changed and I've taken it out on the road about once a month to keep it up and running. The heater box and core have been removed from the car. The original interior is in good shape and cleans up well. I've installed new racing seats with 4 point harnesses. It has Weld wheels with Mickey Thompson Ply tires. The car still has 4 wheel manual drum brakes, with manual steering. It looks good, sounds great, and drives like a typical 67 Big Block car. There is one dent under the front valence from a trailer ramp, but you can only see it if you are under the car. This car is street legal, but with a pretty radical set up. As I've gotten older, I've decided to go with something a little more cruise friendly. Planning to build an AC Cobra, but this has to go first. This car would make a great Eleanor or Shelby GT 500 tribute car. Only serious bidders please. Good luck bidding!
