Vehicle Detail

Fantastic car. I have driven it for 7 years and absolutely love it. However, it is now an old car, so it has it's warts. I will be happy to tell you everything I possibly can about the car, good and bad. Awesome engine. 2.7 Turbo, V6, huge power. Loaded, auto-tint, sunroof, power seats, power rear-view, etc. Leather seats, I love the clean look of the interior. I tinted the windows years back, that helps keep it cool (and looks good!). The tint is legal. New head unit with HD radio, iPhone input, Pandora control, aux in, etc. Recent work includes a new timing belt at 87k, new rack/pinion at 90k, transmission flush/filter at 90k(ish). I've always run synthetic oil. It burns <1 quart per 6k miles with regular oil. If you go one thicker, burns no oil. Camshaft seal was replaced at 87k. Tracks very well. Known issues include small dings/scratches, small tear on drivers seat, center armrest cover hinge broken, cup-holder plastic cover snapped off (not a part that does anything). I could send you photos of all of these if you want. About once a year, it throws an engine code, but goes away after a couple days (this has gone on for years). Some rust on the passenger side (see picture). I will be very happy to talk to you about the car - please email me and we can set up a time so I can tell you anything you want to know. Also happy to send a bunch of photos and/or face-time a virtual tour of the car. On Sep-15-15 at 19:05:37 PDT, seller added the following information: Very reliable. In the 6 years, I have done routine maintenance, tires and filter changes. In 7 years, I have only had it die one single time (some sensor went bad). Audi gets my vote of approval! Two things I forgot in the description: This has the upgraded sound system (Bose?) with subwoofer sound is excellent. Also, I have three keys for it. One key works perfectly, one key is manual only (radio doesn't work), one key is not configured to the car (would have to have the dealer put in the code). I got a question on brakes and tires. Rear pads were just replaced, rear rotors could be replaced (bit of a warp noticeable with high speed hard braking). Not noticeable during regular driving. Front pads should be good for a while (audi/vw front pads tend to last way longer than rear). Tires. Front are pretty good - I took a picture with a quarter which I can send you. Tread goes all the way up to the neck of Washington. Rear tires are about even with the wear strips. I just rotated front to back, as the front wear way faster than the rear. So, not urgent to get the tires done, as the front will wear now. Full sized spare has lots of tread. Thanks for your bids!! Bid with confidence, Kelley blue book value is $4,400! Don't worry, reserve is low, I have a new car already - must sell! I have had a couple questions on the reserve. As I said - I already have a new car, so I may sell it even if it doesn't hit the reserve (as long as it is above the trade-in offer I have). So don't worry about the reserve, just bid if you want it! This is a re-list. The winning bid the last time "bought it by accident". $2,500 was the winning bid last time - that is how I set the Buy it Now.
