The introduction of Mazdas Miata in 1989 rekindled a worldwide enthusiasm for the 2 seat open roadster.The car was well built, sexy looking and fun to drive. It just was a little under powered. However, I don't think that any of the first 20000sold went for a penny under sticker price. But the car was more or less labeled a ladies car. Miata + Turbocharger = Mazdaspeed In 2004 Miata introduced the Mzdaspeed, a Miata with a factory installed Turbocharger delivering over 170 hp.The turbo charger was not just hung in there. Mazda did a lot of engineering to not only make the car fast but safe and reliable.Only4000 were built in 2004 and the production in 2005 was limited to 1428 because of a factory fire.From over 1000000 Miatas sold only 5428 were Mazdaspeeds. A very desirable car. I am selling one today. Sure the car is 11 years old today but is in very good condition. It has the cloth soft top with glass window and defroster.It also has a factory hardtop taken of a 92 Miata. It has new latches and rubber seals and was painted to match the car.Th Mazdaspeed comes with all the bells and whistles offered for the 2004 model. Ball bearing Turbo with air to air intercooler. 6 speed close ratio manual gearbox with shot -peened gears. Heavy duty clutch and revised suspension with Bilstein shocks and stronger springs. Larger diameter sway bars and redesigned oil cooler to take care of the turbo lubrication. It has 17" hart racing wheels with 205/40R17 tires. Paint is 27A Velocity Red Mica. No dents or scratches, no repaint. Original factory paint. Black leather seats with red stitching. Bose 6 speaker audio system with CD player. It sounds great even with the top down. Ice cold ac and well working heater. The clutch is strong and the 6 speed gearbox shifts nice and smooth. I am running Achilles tires 205/40ZR17. They are brand new. The car also has a new battery and a complete tune up including front alignment 2 months ago. Both exterior and interior are in very good, clean condition.Actually, this car does not look or drive like it's 11 years old. It's a blast to drive. The only reason I am selling it is I have Macular Degeneration and probably won't be able to renew my drivers license. Bid with confidence. You are getting a good car well worth the money.
