2003 Suzuki GSXR1000, purchased, serviced and built to perfection. If you are looking for the most thoroughly sorted and fully-serviced K3 GSXR1000 available anywhere, here she is. Pardon the full text below, it includes a full and thorough description of the service and modifications performed. Both prior owners are known to me. Adult owned throughout and responsibly enjoyed. Ridden mostly to and from work for many years (with an occasional long back road trip) which accounts for the bulk of its mileage. Never stunted, never raced, never crashed. Aftermarket accessories include: PVM magnesium wheels with brand new wheel bearingsSTM slipper clutch with all-new friction and metal plates (OEM Suzuki). Top of the line Ohlins 3-way adjustable rear shock with hydraulic spring preload (freshly serviced). Forks came with upgraded valves and a .95 spring and were also freshly serviced. Underneath the tank is a Thorston Durbahn (DPH) carbon-fiber increased capacity airbox that is absolutely gorgeous, paired with a Power Commander 3. The stock, all-titanium exhaust was retained with the exhaust valve disabled (sometimes quiet is better!). The F.I. light / code resulting from this mod was eliminated. No codes or F.I. lights are active.After I took possession, the bike was fully serviced, valves checked found and within spec. As noted above, the chassis was entirely serviced by Computrack Boston including new steering head bearings and both front and rear suspension were serviced with new fluid, seals and bushings. New DOT 4 brake fluid and new front brake pads installed along with New Michelin Pilot Power tires. PSR block off plates installed to replace the previously disabled air-injection system (a popular GSXR mod, but the old covers were burned up and crusty). During the oil change, PSR pre-drilled drain and filler caps were installed with requisite safety wire to make the bike track-day ready. A new 520 chain was also installed. If it was not obvious already, I am a perfectionist when it comes to my motorcycles and in addition to servicing every major component, several cosmetic issues were also addressed including a brand new Zero Gravity tall windscreen (prior dark smoke screen was showing it's age), new left-hand side switch gear (prior switch had faded from the sun), all keyed components (ignition, gas cap and passenger seat release) were replaced with new OEM Suzuki units with two new keys (all old hardware and keys are available if interested, but as the locks did not function smoothly after years of wear they were replaced). A new rear mudguard was installed (the prior one had a small crack near the signal mount), new headlight bulbs were fitted and the bodywork was thoroughly cleaned. Missing plastic bodywork clips and hardware were replaced with new OEM Suzuki hardware. As detailed above, the bike was meticulously serviced and restored to as near-new condition as possible. The aftermarket upgrades significantly enhance the riding experience and the overall composure of the chassis. Everything done to this bike was carried out to enhance it's sport capabilities while also offering a more composed and enjoyable riding experience and quite honestly the result is stunning. She turns extremely quickly but it very composed and stable everywhere, even on our bumpy roads in MA.You will not find a more sorted "K3" GSXR 1000 anywhere.Please see the detailed pictures that document any and all blemishes on the bike and thoroughly speak for themselves with regard to the overall aesthetic condition. She has some rubs here and there, but is in fantastic shape for its age and miles... which, aside from the miles... this is as close to a new bike as a used 2003 model could be.
