1979 Porsche 911SC Targa For your consideration is this excellent, one owner, example of the legendary 3.0 litre 911 Porsche finished a rare Black Metallic (708 Schwartz Metallic) paint over black leather interior. This 911 has spent it’s life in the hands of one loving owner who insisted on having the car serviced only at authorized Porsche dealerships. This Porsche comes complete with not only dealer stamps and service receipts from day one, but also all documentation the car came with in 1979 including all books, original window sticker, original dealer invoice, keys (with key code card), tool roll and jack. -Exterior- The body is in outstanding condition, this 911 has been the beneficiary of a recent high quality repaint in it’s original anthracite color. During the painting process all of the seals were removed and replaced with brand new rubber, including all body and fender seals. The pictures do not catch the true color of the car, the color is stunning to look at and by far one of my favorites on a 911, the brushed trim makes contrasts the color beautifully and makes the car evermore so striking. There is not a single scratch, dent or chip on the car, it is quite simply pristine. The targa top has been reupholstered using O.E. material, it looks and fits perfectly. The headlights have been updated to Euro H-4 units. -Interior- The interior is in perfect condition. The car has always been stored indoors and used sparingly by it’s owner. There is only the slightest sign of wear on the leather (yes, real leather, not vinyl) seats in the typical area on the driver’s bolster, nothing major, but there if you are looking for it. Summed up, everything from the targa headliner, front seats, door panels, carpets, sun visors, rear parcel shelf are perfect. -Engine & Transmission- This 911 has been well cared for inside and out, all service has been performed on time and at the dealership by authorized Porsche technicians, not independent Porsche Shops or shade tree mechanics willing to try anything once. The transmission shifts seamlessly through the all of the gears with no slipping or grinding. There are no strange noises or vibrations from the engine or drive train, all you hear is the music of the flat six engine. This car provides a great driving experience. This Porsche comes complete with a full tool roll, a jack (that has never been used), all of the original warranty booklets and owners manual, 2 regular keys, 2 valet keys as well as 2 replacement keys (along with the key card). This SC wears brand new tires all around mounted on beautifully polished fuchs This 911 appears to be 100% accident free, is free on any liens, I have a clean title in hand and it is ready for a new home. -Terms of Sale- I have full faith in the quality of this vehicle and confidence in the accuracy of it’s description, unfortunately disclaimers have become part of life these days, hence the following: Buyers are more than welcome, and even encouraged to inspect the vehicle in person BEFORE the auction ends.
