I love this car. I am only selling it because I have no place to store it. I purchased this car from someone who was the sole owner of the vehicle until I purchased it about five years ago. It has been well taken care of. I have kept up with oil changes and engine maintenance since I've owned it. The brakes have been entirely replaced with new rotors within the last two years, the rear brakes having been replaced within the last year. New spark plugs. The belts are all new. The engine had a gasket replaced recently and has been cleaned. This Volvo has no rust issues-- every winter it has seen has been mild (Maryland and West Virginia). This car is on the road and up-to-date with inspection, through November 2015. Known defects (all cosmetic or minor fixes!):Rear left tail lights need replaced (currently taped together, but they work)Rear left door handle not attached (still have the part, included with vehicle)Front right side of hood slightly bent (from hitting a deer, this is the only damage from the impact)Power windows work but occasionally need to replace the fuseSmall crack in front windshield (I can get this repaired with insurance if you request for an additional $25)Driver's side door missing a piece of paneling (still have the part, included with vehicle)Interior center console broken apartPassenger side mirror needs replaced (functional temporary mirror included with vehicle)A few scratches and dents on the exterior of vehicleThe windshield sprayer isn't working, and the spray fluid tank is brokenThe tires currently on the car have a slow leak, and need to be monitored and filled occasionallyTHE ODOMETER IS NOT WORKING -- stuck at 189,765 miles**The odometer was working when I purchased it in 2010, and stopped working when I pressed the reset button a few days later. The odometer is stuck at 189,765 miles. I would approximate that it has somewhere between 240k-250k miles on it currently. This 240 has had only two owners. I bought it from a gentleman in Maryland who had taken very good care of the vehicle. I have kept up with it very well and have been able to get a lot of use out of it. There is still plenty of good use left in it! The interior and body have a few issues (as can be expected in a vehicle this old), but the engine is in great condition. I do have the hub caps for all of the wheels, which will be included with the vehicle. The Yakima roof rack is included with the vehicle. A Volvo 240 Service Manual is included with the vehicle. Also included is a great stereo system-- subwoofer, rear speakers and front speakers, two amps, and the receiver!* *(If you do not need the stereo system, I will keep it and take $$$ off your purchase price.)
