Up for auction, we have our 1981 Mercedes 380SL Roadster. It is a incredibly clean and all original car with just over 71K miles on it. It has been stored in a garage most of its life, and as the documents show it has been professionally maintained. I have the original production build sheet in the back of the service manual. It has shiny original silver paint, light gray interior, super rare factory chrome spoke wheels with new tires and the rare chrome fender flares. New exhaust, rear shocks, and rear brakes. It does not have any oil leaks, starts right up, and runs very smooth. Automatic transmission shifts easily and its V8 engine makes for a really fun car to drive. Light gray leather seats are perfect, no tears, carpet is good- no tears, door panels and handles all there, no rips and all works as it should. I recently had the convertible soft top replaced it is brand new and dark blue. Its first owner lived in Texas and moved to Colorado where it been a summer car. No rust that I can find anywhere. It is a 34 year old car and has a few chips and door dings, a very small chip on the hard top The dash has a couple small thin cracks (not bad see pictures). The window washer reservoir is cracked and air conditioning works intermittently. Overall, she is a sharp car to look at and pleasure to drive.
