Needs new valve body for transmission (~ $1800). Might not shift out of first gear when starting car. Jerks at driving speeds. Not drivable - you need a tow or rollback. The good: Custom grille. Draw-Tite hitch. Titled, inspected. The bad: Cloth seats show some wear. Tear in driver's seat. Rust on the spare tire rim. The ugly: When the transmission people were done poking around, they left a "service engine" light. The car has been in a few minor accidents which may not show on CarFax: The dealer we bought it from had concealed an accident - front right side, bumper and headlight. Damage to the grille and bumper from a tree branch. Hence the custom grille. Mystery dent on left front fender. I have never repaired it. Recall on the right front fender by VW for rust. Idiot ran into the right front fender & bumper a few weeks after the recall repair. Fixed. New oil pan. Do expect to transfer the title at a license service at your expense. No, you can't drive the car (safety issues) or borrow the plates (legal issues). Locally listed, may sell at any time and cancel this listing.
