My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1999 Mercedes-Benz C280 Sport with just 97k original miles. I would rate the exterior of this Mercedes to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see in the photos, she shows pretty well for her age. I'd say this Benz is a ten footer. The silver finish is good at hiding small imperfections. Up close, you can see quite a bit of small scratches in the finish. You may not be able to see them in the photos. As I mentioned, the silver finish does a great job at hiding things. From a few feet away, you can't really see anything. Up close, they are easily visible. The only other noteworthy damage to report is a scrape mark on the bumper cover, which is easily seen in the photos. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The original alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with average tread left. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully and keep in mind that there are light scratches all over the car that you probably can't see unless you're close up seeing the car in person. I would rate the interior of this Mercedes to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age and are full looking throughout the interior. The headliner is sagging in a few spots, which is common as these cars age. The power windows, locks, mirrors, sunroof and seats all work properly...although the seats are a bit temperamental, which is also common. The leather seats show well for their age and are comfortable throughout the interior. The drivers seat shows a little wear on the outer bolster, which is normal. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works properly and the air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. The original radio has been upgraded with an aftermarket in-dash CD player which powers up and sounds great through the factory speakers. A full set of owners manuals as well as some service reciepts are included. The trunk is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this C280 Sport appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.8L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Being the factory Sport model, this little sedan handles like it is on rails and is a blast to drive. The steering and brakes feel good. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels very strong. The five speed automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfectly with no issues. There have been no idiot lights on. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. This little Merc runs and drives like a champ. Fly in and drive anywhere. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1999 Mercedes-Benz C280 Sport with just 97k original miles. I would rate the exterior of this Mercedes to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see in the photos, she shows pretty well for her age. I'd say this Benz is a ten footer. The silver finish is good at hiding small imperfections. Up close, you can see quite a bit of small scratches in the finish. You may not be able to see them in the photos. As I mentioned, the silver finish does a great job at hiding things. From a few feet away, you can't really see anything. Up close, they are easily visible. The only other noteworthy damage to report is a scrape mark on the bumper cover, which is easily seen in the photos. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The original alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with average tread left. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully and keep in mind that there are light scratches all over the car that you probably can't see unless you're close up seeing the car in person.
I would rate the interior of this Mercedes to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age and are full looking throughout the interior. The headliner is sagging in a few spots, which is common as these cars age. The power windows, locks, mirrors, sunroof and seats all work properly...although the seats are a bit temperamental, which is also common. The leather seats show well for their age and are comfortable throughout the interior. The drivers seat shows a little wear on the outer bolster, which is normal. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works properly and the air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. The original radio has been upgraded with an aftermarket in-dash CD player which powers up and sounds great through the factory speakers. A full set of owners manuals as well as some service reciepts are included. The trunk is spacious and clean.
Mechanically, this C280 Sport appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.8L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Being the factory Sport model, this little sedan handles like it is on rails and is a blast to drive. The steering and brakes feel good. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels very strong. The five speed automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfectly with no issues. There have been no idiot lights on. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. This little Merc runs and drives like a champ. Fly in and drive anywhere. Winning Bidders:

Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $45 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
