1979 Black Mercedes Benz 450 SL convertible. I am the second owner and I bought this car from the original owner in Portland area in 1986 for $26,000. Factory black original exterior, factory original red MB Text interior. Original drive train with 167,270 original miles. PS, PB, AC, PW, CC. Both hard and soft tops. No dents on the body. I replaced the soft top with a factory black top about ten years ago. Upgraded wheels with 15-inch factory MB chrome wheels. Car comes with the original 14-inch wheels and tires. All 8 tires have plenty of tread. No cracks on any glass. Rebuilt cervo unit, rebuilt power steering pump, rebuilt original fuel injectors, newer muffler. Brakes rebuilt about 3000 miles ago. 560 SL Factory front spoiler, factory 560 SL trunk tail light and 560 SL bagging. Some minor paint bubbling on the bottom of the trunk deck kid. Gas door has rust and will need to be replaced. Engine has a knock and will need to be fixed. Starter motor needs replacing. Driver’s seat has a tear on the back. No rust on the chassis undercarriage area at all. This car has been well taken care of with all service performed by a local Mercedes shop. This car has not been messed with at all. This is one of the lowest priced 450SL’s in the Pacific Northwest. Buyer is responsible for all shipping fees.
