Vehicle Detail
I decided to another one of my Mini Trails in my collection. This Bike is really cool ! It started as a complete basket case but was mostly complete.Luckily is was stored out of the weather in a shed for about the last 20 years. So the Frame, swing arm,Tank and fenders are original to the Bike and were in very good condition. I had The Tank, fenders and Side covers painted 1960's GM Ermine White by my buddy down at the local Chevy Dealership in automotive base coat/clear coat in high quality Sherwin Williams paint. The Frame was painted in Duplicolor Hypersilver automotive wheel paint. Most everything on this Bike is New aftermarket including the seat, exhaust pipe, side covers, handlebars and of course the engine and Carburetor. Extra Trail Wing 14" tire and rim included for mixed use riding along with shorter shocks and brake stay .Fun and easy to swap depending on where you want to go riding. XR75 rear hubs on both sets of rear DID wheels.Same size 428 sprocket on both wheels so just swap and go. (1) We have 77' XR80 front fork suspension with stock SL70 triple tress (2) The new version of the Lifan 125cc 4-up engine with about 200 miles on the clock. (3) 12.5 inch rear shocks and 90/100/14 knobby rear tire. (4) 11 inch rear shocks and 3.00x14 Trail Wing tire. (5) 17 inch front wheel laced with CT90 spokes and 2.50x17 tire (6) 428 chain with 15 counter sprocket and 45 rear sprocket. (7) New brakes and wheel bearings, triple tree bearings, etc. (8) Custom modified intake manifold and 22mm Carb mated to stock Air cleaner with custom boot adapter (9) Oil change at about 50 miles and magnetic drain plug installed. (10) 12 volt ignition with aftermarket key switch. (11) Undercoated and clear-coated underneath both fenders for rock protection. (12) Welded head pipe extension to exhaust to allow pipe to be bolted to deep port 125cc engine I built this Bike to last.Everything works perfectly as it should. This particular 125cc engine REALLY runs good. I guess it likes the intake combo and the SL70 specific air cleaner, not sure why,but it does. The gearing is perfect so I wouldn't change a thing as well. The pictures speak for themselves, though not a true concourse original, very fun to ride around and performs better than any original ever could. Bill of Sale only with Purchase.I don't have and never did have a title, but certainly could be made street legal. Pick up only,no way to ship.$500.00 deposit via Paypal please at close of auction.Remainder upon pick-up. I have the 1971 ORIGINAL Honda SL-70 4-speed engine that came with this Bike as well that needs rebuilding, including the specific intake manifold and a few other original parts. The bike did not have any lights, speedo etc when I found it. I believe my Auction starting price is very fair considering the market and condition of this Bike.More than willing to answer any questions or provide more information. NO RESERVE!! Thanks!
