Listing is for a 1999 Ford Explorer Sport. Color: RED Transmission: RWD- MANUAL Mileage: 185,947 Truck is being sold AS-IS for parts/repair as it will need some work in order to drivable and to pass inspection. Last fall, the Explorer was running, but currently will not start after sitting through the winter. I tried to jump the battery, but that did not work, so I'm guessing it needs a new one. Along with needing a new battery, the drivers side door handle is broke and will not open from the outside, the drivers seat is broken so that it stays in a fully reclined position unless propped up, the harness that holds the center console in place broke, so the center console is loose, the bottom of the rear right tail light case is broke (lights still work), and lastly, the clutch/transmission sometimes sticks when shifting into second gear or reverse, but usually shifts without issue once in gear. The overall body and interior of the truck is in pretty good shape given its age. There is also a full after market sound system (worth over $2,000 new) installed, which will be sold with the truck. Sound system includes an Ecplise multimedia (CD/MP3/DVD/GPS) head unit with a 7" touch screen (needs a new harness, and rewiring), 4 Polk audio speakers (front and rear) powered by an MX Audio 420 watt 4-channel amp and two 10" bazooka subwoofers in a carpeted box with amp. Again, do to the needed repairs, the truck is being sold AS-IS for parts/repair. Would be great for someone who wants to part it out, or fix it up and drive it, as it was running strong before being taken off the road.
