Nice driver quality, un-restored, verified low mile, well optioned, 1973 Mercury Cougar XR-7 convertible. 1973 was the last year that Ford made convertibles until 1983. This car still sports its original leather interior, carpet and most of its factory paint! Since doing the video on this car (see link below) we have reinstalled the original 8-track tape player and detailed the car (see pictures). Just completed a 6 hour road trip in the heat with no issues. It still needs the heater core replaced and new door panels, both of which we have in stock. We can sell these parts at a reduced price to the buyer. We would also like the chance to install these items, as we would like to produce two separate "how to" videos for our YouTube channel: WCCC-TV. We are willing to help you ship this car if you are out of country as we have much experience. If you need to have us store the car, no extra charge for the first three months of indoor storage. This car will likely be featured in our 2016 West Coast Classic Cougar calendar (see 2015 version here). The following video on this car is geared towards what you should look for when you're thinking of buying a 1971-73 Cougar. Pros and cons, areas to look for rust and damage, what parts are replaceable / restorable and which ones aren't so easy. We were very critical of this car on purpose as the direction of the video was not to make a sales pitch for ebay but to make you a better equipped buyer.
