Vehicle Detail
We have a good looking 1971 Chevelle for sale. Everything mechanical in this car is new. Powered by a new .030 over 454 with flat top pistons, aluminum intake, 750 Holley Carbureator, performance camshaft and lifters that sounds great. There is that famous Big Block valve trane peck that comes and goes. "Never had one that didn't have that mysterious peck" Engine is backed up by a new 350 Turbo transmission built with good clutches and steels to handle the big block torque, 1800 rpm convertor with shift kit. 12 bolt rear end stuffed with a new posi unit and 3.73 gears, new exhaust to the rear bumper, power brakes--drum rear and disc front all are new. New master cylinder and front calipers. New 18x8 Ridler rims and new tires all around. 245-45-18 on the back and 225-45-18 up front. This car's restoration was started in the mid 1990's by the previous owner, after many years of on and off work they never finished it. I purchased it 2 years ago as a roller and brought it to the stage that it is at now. Body wise this car is straight. The paint looks good, but it is not perfect and it wasn't painted yesterday. It shows some wear and has had some touch ups and has some imperfections. I had thought of a repaint but it still looks too good to justify it. Most sellers wouldn't include that in their description but I want to be as honest as possible when I sell a car. There are numerous other new parts that were installed on her including: Carpet, seat covers, door panels and sills, new mirrors, bumpers front and rear, new wheel well mouldings and grill. This was a factory AC car, everything is still on the firewall and under the dash to put air on it. I dont have any other AC parts for it. Lights, gas gauge, wipers and signals work. Speedometer is off a little due to the 3.73 gears in the rear. Car has original and rust free floor pans, trunk and doors. Frame is great also and rust free. Previous owner knew the history of the car and swore to me that it had never been wrecked. Also stated that the front suspenstion and steering was done by him when it was disassembled in the 90's. It drives good but maybe a little off on alignment. Glass is all good, no cracks, there are some scrapes and scuffs here and there but not too bad for 40 year old glass. Window mouldings also have a scuff and a ding or two. I have spent a bucket load of cash and countless hours of work on this old girl. It was built to be a driver, not a trailer queen or just to collect dust in the garage, it was to be enjoyed. There are still a few minor things that need to be done to her. Needs hood to cowl rubber, reservoir assembly for the window washers, the emergency brake needs worked on and like I stated earlier it could use an alignment. This is not a 50K show car, but it could be with a little more work. It is a great weekend cruiser that turns heads and gets compliments from all that see it. Take a look at my pics and also the video and you be the judge. This girl screams 70's era American Muscle with a new twist. If you have any questions just ask and I will answer through Ebay. I need a $500.00 deposit through Paypal at auctions end, and the balance in the form of bank to bank wire transfer or cash at time of pickup. This car is registered in my name and will have to be hauled, it will not be driven from my property without insurance and still registered in my name. If you want to have the car shipped then you will need to make all arrangements and payment must be in my bank before I will release the car. No checks and no money orders.
