I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my fisrt hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2006 Volvo S40 2.4i. The S40 is Volvo's entry level sedan and offers an excellent value as a used car. I would rate the exterior of this Volvo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking car. It is finished in silver over black leather. The finish has a nice shine and looks as smooth as glass. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few small blemishes and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, there is nothing noteworthy to report on the exterior of this Volvo. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. Please take the time to check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Volvo looks inside and out. I would rate the interior of this Volvo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well but there is some visible wear from the drivers heel. The dash and headliner are clean. The headliner sags in a spot or two, which is common as these vehicles begin to age. The power windows, locks, seat and mirrors all work properly. The leather seats show well and are comfortable throughout the interior. The audio system is the original CD sound with steering wheel controls, which sounds good. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.4L inline five cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. You get a hint of bushing wear evident under certain conditions but nothing bad. The steering and brakes feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Occasionally, it kicks down a little abruptly when you're rolling up to a stop...which is normal with these. I've personally put the last 100+ miles on this Volvo with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. She has a fresh PA safety inspection good through the end of July, 2016. These cars are great to drive and get excellent fuel economy. At 70mph, the engine is turning at just over 2,000 rpm's...so she's barely working up a sweat. These drive great and are a measurable improvement over the previous generation of S40. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purcahse. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my fisrt hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2006 Volvo S40 2.4i. The S40 is Volvo's entry level sedan and offers an excellent value as a used car. I would rate the exterior of this Volvo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking car. It is finished in silver over black leather. The finish has a nice shine and looks as smooth as glass. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few small blemishes and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, there is nothing noteworthy to report on the exterior of this Volvo. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. Please take the time to check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Volvo looks inside and out.
I would rate the interior of this Volvo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well but there is some visible wear from the drivers heel. The dash and headliner are clean. The headliner sags in a spot or two, which is common as these vehicles begin to age. The power windows, locks, seat and mirrors all work properly. The leather seats show well and are comfortable throughout the interior. The audio system is the original CD sound with steering wheel controls, which sounds good. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean.
Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.4L inline five cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. You get a hint of bushing wear evident under certain conditions but nothing bad. The steering and brakes feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Occasionally, it kicks down a little abruptly when you're rolling up to a stop...which is normal with these. I've personally put the last 100+ miles on this Volvo with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. She has a fresh PA safety inspection good through the end of July, 2016. These cars are great to drive and get excellent fuel economy. At 70mph, the engine is turning at just over 2,000 rpm's...so she's barely working up a sweat. These drive great and are a measurable improvement over the previous generation of S40. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $45 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
