Low Reserve!!! 1987 Monte Carlo LS Not SS in excellent condition. This is an extremely well preserved example of a classic Chevrolet Icon, the Monte Carlo Luxury Sport. All original including paint, exhaust, belts, hoses, etc, with the exception of the battery and brand new tires. The vehicle has not seen regular use since at least 2001 and has been carefully stored in climate controlled environment since that time. In fact, I have been over this car from end to end and find absolutely no evidence that this car has even seen rain, snow, or salt. 36,850 Original Documented Miles!!! I have driven car locally enough to “Get To Know” the car and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere at any time. Everything works as it should on this gem, power windows, air conditioning, cruise control, etc. except the factory AM/FM radio and clock. I am now offering this car for sale to anyone wanting an amazing car made at one of the true pinnacles of GM Excellence. Mechanical Conventional 305 V8 with electronically controlled Quadra-Jet carburetor and over-drive transmission. Fuel economy is exceptional at about 18 City and 24 Highway. The entire drive train is in perfect condition and runs flawlessly with no issues. Under the hood, the entire engine compartment looks as you would expect, In other words, it looks like a 2-3 year old car.. Even fan belts, radiator, and heater hoses are original to the car in absolutely great condition free from any sign of age. Car cruises comfortably and quietly at 75 mph. Brand new Firehawk Indy 500 white letter radials with less than 50 miles since installed and balance of warranty transferable to new owner. Paint & Body Paint is original factory applied laquer in a medium metallic burgundy with matching beautifully complimentary dark Burgundy cloth interior. Exterior paint is well above average for these cars. The good news, this is the factory original paint and cleans up very nicely. Not only that, but it is very desirable color and there is no need to tamper with the “originality” factor. Paint has a very presentable like new appearance. All body panels are original to the car all the way down to the factory V.I.N. labeling on the hood, doors, deck lid, etc. I shouldn’t even have to say it, but I will; No Rust Ever, absolutely no rust or bodywork of any kind!!! Interior The interior of the car is very clean and just about like new. I think the pictures will speak for themselves on the subject of the condition of this exceptional interior. The seats, dash, carpets, door panels, and even the package tray are absolutely as new. Let me say this again the DASH is absolutely perfect and as if new. There just is no way an interior could ever be put back into the condition of this car no matter how many reproduction parts were bought and no matter how much money was spent. Summary Everything works within the car including dash gages, cruise control, intermittent wipers, door locks, power windows, and climate control works, as it should. The factory radio is not currently working. I believe this car has every available option that was offered in 1987 except T-Tops. The interior quietness of the car really accentuates the quality put into these vehicles by GM. Please do not hesitate to ask any and all questions.
