You can visit our gallery of work at instagram.com/archivehonda 1978 Honda CB750 F Supersport Exactly 2,700.6 miles on the odometer This bike was a truly amazing find in Waukesha, Wisconsin. It is the lowest mile CB750 we can remember getting our hands on (next lowest that comes to mind was about 4,100). It looks like someone bought it on a whim back in the 70's, rode it one or two summers in Wisconsin, put it away and never touched it again. Chrome is in magnificent shape, paint is nearly flawless. All parts aside from mechanical restoration are 100% factory except for the handlebars. We do have the original higher bars if you want them to come with it. We put it through our standardized restoration process, so it comes with the following: -All chrome removed and treated to remove signs of aging and rust -Steering bearings and retainers removed, cleaned and re-greased -Front and rear disc brake systems including all 3 calipers and 2 master cylinders have been thoroughly cleaned and rebuilt, bled and flushed with all new brake fluid. (Pictures were taken just before rear brake caliper and master cylinder were reinstalled) -Brand new Shinko 712 series tires and tubes made by Yokohama -Carburetors were disassembled, put through our ultrasonic cleaner, then manually cleaned out by hand and rebuilt -Front forks were taken apart, the fork legs were thoroughly cleaned out in the solvent tank to remove all old oil and corrosion, and refilled with new fork oil and fitted with brand new fork oil seals -Brand new DID brand 630 drive chain -Brand new Motion Pro throttle and clutch cables -New Castrol 4T motor oil and Emgo oil filter -Brand new NGK spark plugs and plug boots -Brand new factory replacement clutch and brake levers, clutch cable adjuster and pivot bolt -Brand new WPS battery -Ignition points were sanded and serviced. The ignition timing and valve clearance specs themselves were actually still dead on from the factory and needed no adjustment (amazing!) This engine is a very happy, harmonious machine that starts easily and delivers very tight throttle response. -Wiring harness connectors were all individually cleaned and re-crimped. ALL switches and lights operate perfectly, charging system works perfectly and the components were tested to make certain they do not get hot -New fuel lines and fuel filters -Final stage all-encompassing safety check to ensure all new parts were installed correctly, ALL bolts properly tightened with correct washers, and all safety locking pins firmly in place ****Comes with 60 day / unlimited mileage warranty through our shop**** Anything goes wrong, just bring it back and we will fix it at no charge
