My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2004 Mercedes-Benz C240 with just 132k miles. The C-Class is the entry level to the Mercedes-Benz family, but don't let that fool you. The C-Class offers a spacious cabin with a host of luxury and safety features not found in other luxury car makers until you reach their mid-range sedans. I would rate the exterior of this Mercedes-Benz to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a gorgeous sedan. It is finished in silver with matching light gray interior, which looks stunning. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few imperfections and small blemishes commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd have to be pretty picky to find anything worth complaining about on the exterior of this C240. The finish has a deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. The body lines up nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the body moldings are still intact, as they should be. The most remarkable thing about the exterior of this C240 is the lack of rust. Many Mercedes' of this age are showing rust bubbles here and there, but not this one. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The original alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Mercedes looks inside and out. I would rate the interior of this Mercedes-Benz to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. On the drivers door, the one top window switch is loose and one is missing...this is common as these cars age. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets show well for their age and are full looking thorughout the interior. The power windows, locks, mirrors, sunroof and seats all work properly. Both front seats are heated, too. There is a small discoloration on the passengers seat cushion. Otherwise, the seats show very well and are comfortable. The arm rest cushion is broken, which is common. The audio system is original and sounds excellent. There is also a factory CD changer located in the glove box. The interior wood veneers all show well and give a rich, warm look to the interior. The only other bad thing I can point out is that one of the posts to the rear shade is broken. It can probably be repaired, I just haven't messed with it. The trunk is spacious and clean. A full set of floor mats as well as a full set of books and manuals are included. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent settings for the driver and passenger. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. Mechanically, this Mercedes C240 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.6L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. You can hear a light rattle over rough surfaces, which is probably either swaybar end links or worn rubber bushings. This is normal at this age and shouldn't be a major repair. The brakes and steering feel great. The engine feels strong and runs well. There have been no idiot lights on. The only warning message that comes up in the center display is the brake pad wear indicator. The brakes feel great, sound normal and stop the car safety with no issues...that message just means it's time to replace the brake pads. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfectly with absolutely no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complants. I've personally put the last 250+ miles on this little Merc and she is a pleasure to drive. If you've been looking for a clean, low mile C-Class that hasn't been neglected and all used up, this C240 deserves your consideration. Just fly in and driver her anywhere. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2004 Mercedes-Benz C240 with just 132k miles. The C-Class is the entry level to the Mercedes-Benz family, but don't let that fool you. The C-Class offers a spacious cabin with a host of luxury and safety features not found in other luxury car makers until you reach their mid-range sedans. I would rate the exterior of this Mercedes-Benz to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a gorgeous sedan. It is finished in silver with matching light gray interior, which looks stunning. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few imperfections and small blemishes commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd have to be pretty picky to find anything worth complaining about on the exterior of this C240. The finish has a deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. The body lines up nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the body moldings are still intact, as they should be. The most remarkable thing about the exterior of this C240 is the lack of rust. Many Mercedes' of this age are showing rust bubbles here and there, but not this one. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The original alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Mercedes looks inside and out.
I would rate the interior of this Mercedes-Benz to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. On the drivers door, the one top window switch is loose and one is missing...this is common as these cars age. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets show well for their age and are full looking thorughout the interior. The power windows, locks, mirrors, sunroof and seats all work properly. Both front seats are heated, too. There is a small discoloration on the passengers seat cushion. Otherwise, the seats show very well and are comfortable. The arm rest cushion is broken, which is common. The audio system is original and sounds excellent. There is also a factory CD changer located in the glove box. The interior wood veneers all show well and give a rich, warm look to the interior. The only other bad thing I can point out is that one of the posts to the rear shade is broken. It can probably be repaired, I just haven't messed with it. The trunk is spacious and clean. A full set of floor mats as well as a full set of books and manuals are included. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent settings for the driver and passenger. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too.
Mechanically, this Mercedes C240 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.6L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. You can hear a light rattle over rough surfaces, which is probably either swaybar end links or worn rubber bushings. This is normal at this age and shouldn't be a major repair. The brakes and steering feel great. The engine feels strong and runs well. There have been no idiot lights on. The only warning message that comes up in the center display is the brake pad wear indicator. The brakes feel great, sound normal and stop the car safety with no issues...that message just means it's time to replace the brake pads. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfectly with absolutely no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complants. I've personally put the last 250+ miles on this little Merc and she is a pleasure to drive. If you've been looking for a clean, low mile C-Class that hasn't been neglected and all used up, this C240 deserves your consideration. Just fly in and driver her anywhere. Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $45 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
