1990 Dodge Dakota Sport 4x4 convertible in rare Daytona Blue color! When is the last time you saw a blue Dakota convertible for sale? How about a blue 4x4 one? Please see the 24-photos on this auction! I bought this truck earlier this year because I've always loved them and have had a few over the years. It was a must buy for me because of the color! Long story short, although I've enjoyed driving it on sunny days and star filled nights in that time, it's just not the vehicle for me these days. I'm more into my 3-vintage VW trucks and not so much the convertibles anymore due to Florida heat - so it's going to the high bidder here on eBay - with NO RESERVE! Of the 919-Dakota convertibles made in 1990, not many in this color with the Sport 4x4 package were made. Although the odometer states 77,509 miles, the miles are exempt on my Florida title, and since I'm not the original owner I cannot verify the "actual mileage" other than what it says on the odometer and by the condition of the truck, which to me is very good. So please keep that in mind when bidding. - Starts right up, runs great and drives straight down the road. - Just had oil & filter change 8/13/2015. - Cold A/C (still R12) and cruise control works as it should. - The Dodge "shift on the fly" 4-wheel drive works as it should in low and high. - I was told Dakota was repainted by Dodge dealership with original stripe package due to paint peeling (typical Chrysler!) and paint still shines beautifully. - Only one small spot of paint on lower passenger door has bubbled (see close up photo), the rest is in remarkable condition for its age. - Goodyear tires in good shape, plenty of tread. - Top in very good condition except one small spot (see photo close up) which is indented a bit.- Interior is in excellent condition. - Interior light on mirror works off its switch, but not off doors for some reason. - Perfect dashboard, no cracks or wear.- Factory Chrysler AM/FM/CD/Cassette stereo.- Rear bed has some scratches as it is a truck and has been used as such, but it is still very clean, not abused. - Class-3 trailer hitch. - Straight bumpers, working factory fog lights with rare original Dakota covers. - A few paint chips here and there, a scratch here and there as well. Some very minor dings, but like glass down the sides! Bid to win, this auction has NO RESERVE! Questions? Please just ask. Dodge replaced the speedometer head in 2004, so it looks like actual mileage would be an additional 18,000 + 7,000 miles. My guess is the mileage of 77.509 plus the 25k additional brings the mileage of this Dodge truck in at 102,509 miles. Not positive, but according to the report, that looks correct.
