I am the second owner of this meticulously maintained 3d generation Mazda Rx7. I purchased it July, 1997 from the original owner with 19,973 miles. It was his company car. Today it has only 41,543 miles. The car runs great with no issues. Everything works as it should. The car has lived its entire life in the dry Colorado climate. It never has been driven in the winter. I have always kept it in my garage under a Mazda Rx7 car cover (car cover to be included in the sale). It has always been a blast to drive on some good twisty mountain roads. With the twin sequential turbos it never has any problems breathing thin air at altitude. I am reluctantly offering my RX7 as I drive it very little now due to bad arthritic knees and back. Now for the details: Exterior Condition: -New set of tires. Purchased four new BF Goodrich G-Force Comp 2 A/S at 41,411 miles. -Original paint has some minor dings, scrapes, sand and pebble pitting on the front and hood and scratches as expected of a car 3 or 4 years old. -Original owner said he slightly dinged a fender on his garage door. It was expertly repaired. -No rust anywhere, Its always been a Colorado car. -Tail pipes and under carriage look great. -Wheels look like new with original Mazda center cap logos retaining original color. -Power radio antenna, power retractable sun roof, windows, door locks, headlights, running lights and fog lights all work perfectly. Interior Condition: -Extremely clean with factory optional Mazda Rx7 logo stainless steel scuff plates (standard original Rx7 black plastic scuff plates also included with sale). -Beige leather seats, passenger seat is like new while the driver's seat shows leather wear and there is a small quarter sized wear hole in the left side bolster of the drivers seat. -Tan carpeted floors are in very good to excellent condition. -Dash, instrument panel, knobs, buttons, controls and headliner, sun roof, and panels are all in excellent condition with the exception of a broken lid hinge on the driver's side door map storage compartment. -Original Owner's Manual folder included. Mechanical: -Air conditioner keeps it cool. -Everything works well. The engine and 5 speed manual transmission run great and are as strong as ever. -All controls, buttons, switches, lights and gauges work as they should. -Brakes pads probably have about 5,000 - 7,000 miles left. -Factory original Bose Premium sound system with Acoustic Wave sub-woofers under the back lid works and sounds excellent. -Tight, precise steering and handling. Upgrades: -Pettit Racing TKT Cold Air Induction System with K&N Air Filters (please note that I will include the original air filter box if you want it) (10/10/1997). -Pettit TKT billet aluminum power pulley (10/10/1997). -Racetronics Pillar mounted boost gauge (5/26/1998). -Greddy Turbo Timer installed under the dash(10/10/1997).
