Rare and excellent condition collectible 1996 LT4 (Grand Sport engine 330 HP) Corvette convertible with low miles. Red on red with white top. about 27K miles. I am a long time Corvette collector and, recently, decided to re-organize my Corvette collection to have one of each of the 7 generations of Corvettes. I own 2 top C4s, this LT4 convertible (one of my favorite drivers) and a C4 ZR-1 that a drive little given its higher maintenance costs as a bespoken car. This car has all original paint, original interior, never in accident or weather. Mechanically perfect. All documentation including original Window Sticker, manual, book casing, notebook, original remote, 3 sets of keys. Original Goodyear GS-C tires with 5K miles, on them as explained on the videos. Car has 2 very small blemishes: One very tiny, hard to see, hood paint chip as shown on videos. The left side lower cushion of the driver's seat leather is dried, as shown on video. Recent maintenance includes: All seals from the engine replaced, including injectors seals, crank seal, intake seals, etc. A $2K repair which was not urgently needed but I am very picky with my collector cars and keep them in top shape both visually and mechanically. The backup light gear switch which has failed and has been replaced to get the car inspected and licensed last May. I had decided to sell this car recently, as it is one of my favorites. The car is also listed locally so I reserve the right to cancel this auction if the car is sold. It is a great looking car as well as mechanically perfect. A really cared collectible item. The tires are the original GS-Cs which are great for shows and judging but should be replaced if the intention is to drive it and travel with it. The originals are great to have for NCRS judging. The video has full description and shows every single part of the car, including as full working original stereo and CD player. This is an unmolested original. Never repainted, never in an accident. Car is originally from a collection on the East Coast. The only after market part are the Magnaflow stainless steal mufflers as the previous owner, also a collector, replaced the original LT1s which were bad as they normally do (they are not stainless steal) after a few years. More on that on the video. It is easily converted back to the originals if the new owner wants it. I have many pictures of this car, including recent pictures of under it as it is a very, very clean car. This is a great driving sports car, powerful engine (330 hp Grand Sport one year only LT4), the best gearbox in a Corvette the ZF 6 speed, reliable and convertible! Plus the top Corvette C4s have been increasing their value for the last 2 years as collector items. Added to that, the fact it has the coveted one year only LT4 engine and ZF 6 speed. This is a cared after car, not a trashed all weather C4. The car handles perfectly even with the original tires, brakes are straight and powerful, does not vibrate, engine is very strong and smooth as new. Always used the recommended Mobil 1 synthetic oil which is replaced every time at a Chevrolet dealership. I had driven approximately 2K miles the last 4 years on it as it is one from my collection I drive the most due to its driving pleasure. This car has been appraised by Hagerty at about $24,000.00 and I do have a CARFAX from this year on it which I can make available upon request as well as the appraisal report.
