1951 Chevrolet 3100If you have negative feedback or less than 10 transactions you must contact me before bidding or your bid will be cancelled. Up for sale is an awesomely patina'd 1951 Chevy Truck. This truck has attitude for days. Its rusty in some places, dented and dinged in others, but amazing all over. The original body rides on a late model S-10 frame with a SBC and 700R4 transmission. the engine is a 305 with an edelbrock intake, carb, new clear HEI distributor, new plugs, new wires, new finned valve cover and air cleaner. The truck has brand new mufflers and dual exhaust. It is cooled by a brand new aluminum 3 row radiator with an electric fan. The wheels are Boss 338 20x8.5 front and 20x10 rear. This truck has power steering and 4 wheel disc brakes with all new lines, pads rotors and calipers. The rear end is a posi unit with 3:73 gears. The door glass and wing windows are brand new, the rest of the original glass was left to give the truck that extra bit of attitude and style. The floors have been patched and an all steel trans tunnel was added to clear the Lokar shifter. The cab corners have been replaced. The truck has been completely rewired with a brand new wiring harness. The excess wires have been zip tied up under the dash in case the next owner wants to add power windows, power seats or a radio etc. All wires are individually labeled to help with any future troubleshooting. The tail lights and headlights are new and all work properly as they should. The A-ooga horn is wired to a push button on the dash. The gauges all work except the speedometer. It will need an adapter that mates a mechanical cable to an electronic transmission sending unit. The bed wood is pressure treated pine that has been stained and coated with 5 coats of helsman outdoor eurathane. This truck is a real neck breaker, it sounds, runs and drives like a dream. You can hop in it and drive anywhere. It has been lowered with 4" blocks in the rear and a coil and a half were cut up front. This is the same drop I have had on all the trucks I have built like this one. It will cruise anywhere (as long as you dont drive like an idiot). I have a clean and clear NC title in my name for this truck. A picture is worth a thousand words so please study them carefully and ask any and all questions you might have. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of the auction's end or immediately if the Buy it Now is option is selected. the remaining balance is due with 5 days of the aution's end.
