I bought the car 4 1/2 years ago from the previous owner in Winston-Salem, NC who'd had the car 15 years. His intent had been to convert the base model Cougar to the XR7, and had assembled all the necessary parts, which I now have. I have parts, parts and more parts. Boxes of parts, all included with the car. Wiring harnesses, dash components, exterior parts, interior parts, trim parts, engine parts, even an original disc brake conversion assembly. Too much to list. See pics. As the interior pic(s) will show, I had removed the seats, panels, console and dashboard, but my restoration plans got sidetracked. I put brand new Yokahama's and mag wheels on the car and parked it, virtually no miles on the tread. Brand new battery installed today, 8/1/2015. Runs strong, garaged, title in hand. Previous owner had the chrome redone. Happy to answer all questions best I can. Many pics/video available upon request. Car is located in Unionville, NC, about 15 minutes east of Charlotte. IF NOT WHAT DO YOU THINK WOULD NEED TO BE DONE TO MAKE IT STREETABLE , ENGINE, TRENS, SUSPENTION, . THANKS." Hi, yes it's drivable. In fact, it's registered and insured. Before I pulled out the seats and other interior components, I used to drive it locally. Suspension could be upgrade for purpose of comfort, and I would caution that it still has drum brakes. The dashboard will need to be reinstalled to operate the headlights for night driving. Otherwise the engine and transmission are strong. I recently cleaned the carburetor jets, the car has sat parked for a couple years, only run occassionally, so I'd also recommend running through some fuel system cleaner. Hi, yes, I'll be happy to securely load boxes and parts inside the car and trunk spaces. That said, not everything will fit. For instance, two extra front seats, and four tires on the original rims will remain outside the car, along with anything else I cannot fit inside without damaging.
