VERY RARE 2003 Mercedes SLK32 AMG 354 HP with 181k miles (clear title in-hand) and in fair condition. I am the second owner, the 1st owner had this SLK32 for 3 years, I've owned it for 9 years and 140k commuting miles on the car. Fully loaded, all options available in 2003, 6 CD disk changer w/MB logo (rare) in trunk. Adult owned, 1 driver, never abused, classic AMG in need of TLC/restoration, absolutely phenomenal summer top-down head-turner. I never intended to sell the car, but with 1st child on the way, the prospects of fun summer road-trips to the beach are fading. Car is in "fair" condition and needs work. Can easily make a drive 1k miles or more if someone outside of NYC-area is interested in driving it. MODEL details: SLK32 AMG production ran between Aug 2000 and March 2004. Only 4,333 were built in total, of which 979 were retained for Germany, 2,056 exported to the USA and 263 to the UK. There are not many out there and 2004 was the last year for this body style. Here are the problems that need to be fixed (ergo selling "as-is"): Windshield wiper blades need replacing (I have the stock, hi-speed blades, need replacement rubber) Line A-combination switch (170-540-03-44 SWITCH) Rear view mirror has internal leak (170-810-04-17 INSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR) Hood shock worn (170-880-02-29 SPRING) Right headlamp washer nozzle and bumper cover broken; left headlamp washer nozzle spritzer cracked (170-860-01-47, 170-860-02-47 Nozzles; 170-880-10-05 ESCUTCHEON; 170-885-00-35 SPRING) Steering shock leaking (124-463-04-32 SHOCK ABSORBER) Antenna on trunk missing (129-820-19-75 ANTENNA) Lower ball joint worn (210-330-00-35 TIE ROD JOINT) Lower control arm bushings worn (170-330-00-75 REPAIR KIT) x2 Electrical fuses blown (seats and dashboard) Paint bubbling on hood from poor paint-job (near headlights) Sun-visors need to be replaced Battery on remote needs to be replaced; need to lock and open with key ----- Passed inspection and does not need re-inspection until OCT 2016. Accidents: The car was in one accident; I noticed that the CarFax does not reflect an accident I had in 2008-ish timeframe. I hit a deer and it did cosmetic damage resulting in the replacement of front light, hood, front grill.
