This is a great condition always in California classic BMW . All stock as delivered except for Bottle cap alloys and upgraded seat belts This no rust never hit or accident still has the original panels including hood nose rear and even the grills.. It has a very straight body that has a recent bare metal then quallty base coat /clearcoat paint job done in its original Colorado orange. You really can see a car history when you take it down to metal and then apply the latest materials on the market today I believe you get the most durable paint when all those old materials are removed and of course much crisper body lines. There are no dents dings or scratches on this beauty ..Click on gallery below . The interior . Original no tears headliner in nice condition . Front Seats repaded and rear seats in perfect amazing untouched condition! The carpet is original except for floor pieces but the matching pieces could be replaced . Door panels never cut dash in pretty good .. The Seat belts have been upgraded to the 1976 retractable style. I cannot drive a car with those ones they came with.. Doors and hood open and close with ease and the hood fits perfect and does not have the typical oil can effect found so often in the center panels of the hood. Window cleaned and greased working easy . Door brakes replaced.. All light work along with the heater fan .Guages correctly along with ODO . Actual miles due to this car was in long term storage . Drivetrain: The engine is a factory replacement in absolutely top condition!! No leaks or smoke even down hill It has lots of power and torque. The acceleration is wonderful and is a joy to drive. The trans is also in excellent shape with smooth easy shifts . again no leaks .. Guibo and center support all very good.. The differential is silent. Front Bilsteins and replaced shocks and excellent steering box make for a straight tracking fantastic corning amazing drive! The ultimate driving machine was coined because of these 2002"s California clean tile in hand. Reluctantly am selling to finish another older collector car that is running into some unexpected expenses..
