As seen in the pictures down below this nice looking 2006 Mercedes SLK280 Roadster has mainly very light rear trunk lid damage. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance auctions for resale in the condition you see it on the pics. No middle man involved. We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) at hand and ready to transfer to the new owner. Such vehicles can be legally returned back to the roads after repairs and your state motor vehicles inspection. Damaged areas are clearly shown in the pictures below. Trunk lid has the obvious dents. Right taillight and rear glass are broken. Roof has no major damage but has small/light dents. Lower part of front bumper cover is cracked and has scrapes (see last few pics). No suspension damage observed. Car has no mechanical damage, AC blows cold air. Engine runs great! All airbags good. Overall car is in great condition with great looking tires. Convertible top opens/closes normally with the push of a button. The great news is that the car starts, engine runs great, goes into gear and drives normal. Overall it should be a very easy fixer with few parts needed and very light body work. Mainly needs the right taillight, rear glass, and trunk lid/hatch door. A SMALL NOTE ON SALVAGE VEHICLES

We specifically deal with light damaged or theft recovered salvage rebuildable vehicles. This vehicle was picked up from an insurance auction for resale. We directly purchase from insurance auctions and no middle man involved. Insurance companies usually salvage vehicles due to collision, theft, flood..etc. but this doesn't mean that they are beyond repair. In most cases its not the actual damage to the car that causes a vehicle to be salvaged but the circumstances under which they are declared salvage. For example, theft recovered vehicles are always salvaged since they are usually recovered after the owner is paid off by the insurance company. Or the owner might not want the vehicle after going through an accident even if the damages are light and easily repairable such as our cars. Whatever the case is these cars can easily be returned to the streets and that is why they're sold through auctions as repairable vehicles.

We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) in our possession and it will be re-assigned to the new owner to follow up with their state salvage process. Every state has its own salvage process and its usually filling out some forms and taking the car to an inspection after repairs (if any repairs are needed). Please check with your local motor vehicle center for the exact procedures and rules/regulations.
