1975 SUZUKI GT750 M UP FOR SALE IS MY 1975 SUZUKI GT750. THIS BIKE WAS MY DAILY DRIVER WHILST MY B MODEL WAS OFF THE ROAD FOR 4 YEARS. IT HAS BEEN A GREAT CONVERSATION PIECE WHEREVER YOU PARK AND A PRIZE WINNER AT THE LOCAL BIKE NIGHT. NOW IT'S TIME TO LET IT GO!THE BIKE RUNS GREAT, AND PULLS STRONG THROUGH ALL THE GEARS. THERE ARE NO ISSUES WITH THE MOTOR (IT DOES NOT BURN GEAR OIL AND THE 2 STROKE OIL PUMP IS CONNECTED AND WORKING). THE GAS TANK HAS A SMALL AMOUNT OF SURFACE RUST INSIDE AS SEEN IN THE PICTURES, AND THE PAINT IS GOOD. THERE IS A SMALL AMOUNT OF TOUCH-UP UNDERNEATH AT THE REAR WHERE A SMALL LEAK WAS REPAIRED BY WELDING, THE TANK HAS NOT BEEN KREEMED.THE EXHAUST IS ORIGINAL AND IN VERY GOOD CONDITION FOR 40 YEARS OLD, ALL THE COLLARS ARE FREE RUNNING ON THE THREADS. ALL BAFFLES ARE IN PLACE, THERE ARE SMALL AMOUNTS OF RUST IN THE USUAL HIDDEN PLACES. THE FRAME WAS POWDERCOATED A FEW YEARS AGO WHEN THE BIKE WAS REBUILT. THE FRONT MASTER CYLINDER HAS BEEN RECENTLY REBUILT USING GENUINE SUZUKI KIT AND BRAIDED STAINLESS HOSES FITTED. FRONT FORKS ARE GOOD AND CLEAR, NO PITTING IN THE TRAVEL AREA AND THE SEALS ARE GOOD.PAINTWORK HAS SUNFADING AND THERE ARE SMALL SCRATCHES/CHIPS IN IT. THERE IS A SLIGHT SHADING DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TANK AND SIDE PANELS. ONE KEY FITS ALL LOCKS AND ALL LIGHTS ARE WORKING. WATER PUMP WAS REBUILT USING A KIT FROM SUZUKI GB. AS IS COMMON ON GT750'S, THE GEAR POSITION INDICATOR DOESN'T SHOW CORRECTLY. THERE IS A SMALL TEAR IN THE SEAT AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURES.THIS BIKE HAS BEEN TOTALLY RELIABLE WITH USUAL MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS CARRIED OUT BY ME, THAT SAID THE BIKE IS BEING SOLD "AS IS, WHERE IS" WITH NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.I WILL WORK WITH YOUR SHIPPER BUT ALL COSTS ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILTY, YOU COULD ALSO FLY IN AND RIDE HOME WITH CONFIDENCE. THANK YOU FOR READING MY ADVERT, AND HAPPY BIDDING.On Jul-28-15 at 05:53:10 PDT, seller added the following information: It has been pointed out that the exhaust system is incorrect for the bike model year and would appear to be from the earlier "L" model because it has the balance pipes between the headers, the frame and engine numbers are correct for the 1975 "M" model.They are an original Suzuki exhaust, just incorrect for the model year, just wanted to avoid any surprises or disappointed buyers Thanks for lookingOn Jul-29-15 at 14:12:32 PDT, seller added the following information: It's now been pointed out that the paintwork and front forks might be incorrect for a 1975 model bike it would appear to be from a 1974 model!!!As stated in the add the bike is 40 years old things do "wear out, get rusty,are changed for better condition!!" . I've tried to describe the bike to the best of my ability! I've taken lots of pictures and anyone concerned about originality or period correctness, should perhaps look at the other 750's on the market and give this a miss! I've owned the bike for the last 4years and it's as it came to me!! The bike is being sold " as is, where is" with the offer of Skype or face time to verify any points that are of concern I just want to point that the bike in the pictures is the bike for sale it's been owned and used for 40 years things get changed! Judging by the amount of 'helpful 'people who are pointing out the differences between all models of GT750 and this bike. Just so everybody is clear the bike has a 1975 year title the vin number matches a1975 frame,the engine number also matches a 1975 engine, in 40 years of use things get changed/improved or best available parts get fitted. If that is something you couldn't live with then please don't bid!! go and find the museum piece that I'm certain will be a lot better than this bike, I personally prefer to use my bikes and enjoy them just like Mr Suzuki intended and if a better condition part comes along I'm going to fit it! Please look at the pictures that is the bike you are bidding on"nothing more nothing less " Sorry to keep repeating myself but to some "experts" the originality seems to be keeping them awake at night! and I'm not trying to misrepresent anything or anyone just sell a bike that's been ridden regularly and is 40years old.
