1956 Chevy Cameo ProjectIn 1956 Chevy produced a low production quantity of the Cameo Trucks. All other Chevy Cameo trucks are already rare so this low production 1956 Chevy Cameo is Extremely rare. This Cameo is an original V8 Truck. The Truck has its original metal VIN plate that has never been altered. It comes with a complete, disassembled 265 V8 along with a two speed power glide with torque converter. The 265 that is disassembled comes with all parts to make the motor complete. The motor is complete including water pump, generator, carburetor, distributor, pulleys, radiator, oil pan, oil bath air cleaner, exhaust manifold, internal parts and the list goes on. It has its original complete dual exhaust still intact. You can see all of this in the detailed posted pictures. Body: The Cameo body is in fair shape. The Hood, fenders and doors look to be in okay shape. The rear Cameo metal inner bed sides structures looks to be in good shape. The complete frame looks to be in good shape. There is some minor pin holes below on the outer rear window down in the lower area, some minor pin holes inside on the floor next to the pedals, and the inner floor steps inside the door jam also have some minor rust holes and corrosion. The rest of the floor looks to be in decent shape. The rear Cameo Tailgate is in fair shape, has some fiberglass ware. Overall the body is fairly straight with some small dents, and bondo in areas. It also has had some small patch panel repairs done many years ago the on rear cab corners but the work looks to be decent and just needs to be cleaned up and finished. The rear passenger bedside in the back below the light area is missing a section of fiberglass but i have the piece to repair it. All the repairs that are needed on the Cameo body can easily be fixed. Interior: Still has its original Cameo steering wheel along with the original bench seat with is original cameo upholstery and its original gas tank behind the seat. The Cameo comes with its front bumper, grille thats its good shape but is missing several parts like glass, stainless, interior parts and the list goes on.
