Condition: UsedThis is a 1969 Dodge Charger with automatic transmission and 440 motor, yellow with bumble bee stripe. I have owned it and garage kept it for the past 14 years. The car sounds good and runs well. It was previously restored prior to my ownership, but is in need of restoration again. The 5th digit of the VIN indicates the car was originally a 383 2bbl car, and I believe the original color was Dark Bronze Metallic, which is visible under some peeled paint in the engine compartment (see photo of cross member in front of radiator, the darker color near the Mopar sticker is paint, not rust). It is powered by a 1967 440 motor. The body is in decent condition with some blistering in a few areas, and some rust showing particularly in seam/edge areas, with one area about 1" diameter rusted through on driver's rocker panel. There is also some peeling of a thin layer of filler in a few areas. The frame is pretty solid with some decay on the cross members that run from the main frame outward under the doors (see photos, both sides). The car was undercoated prior to my ownership. Trunk has heavy surface rust. Fuel tank was recently replaced and I included picture of the undercarriage with fuel tank removed. Overall the body is solid but needs attention. Interior is complete but worn in many areas. Rear seats need re-upholstered, carpet, headliner, visors, seat belts need restoration/replacement. Front bucket seats are in fair to good condition. Shifter is on the column and the radio is missing. Vehicle has power steering, manual brakes - 4 drums, Reservoir for windshield washer is cracked and I believe windshield washer pump is also not working. Hideaway headlights work. Previous owner installed some performance upgrades. Holley carb.# 3310-6 (750cfm), Edelbrock Torker 440 manifold, Accel SuperCoil ignition coil, performance cam, low ratio posi-rear, shift kit and stall converter, headers and Flowmaster dual exhaust. I've never had the motor or drive-train components disassembled, so I do not know the specifics on cam or the rear. At some point there appeared to have been a fire in the engine compartment, evidenced by checkerboard discoloration on the underside of the hood. That fire also distorted some of the metal in the center of the grill. The car comes with an extra grill (photo attached), which between the two should be enough to restore the grill with the exception of the very center chrome "I" shaped piece which is flattened and in need of attention.
