This 1974 Honda CB750 was systematically restored, everything works, it runs perfectly and needs nothing but a rider! 20,676 miles on the odometer There are a few imperfections on the bike. It is not a concourse restoration- the paint is original from 1974 and does have a few scratches and fading, the #1 exhaust pipe has a small corrosion spot (pictured) where the header meets the muffler, among other minor flaws. It is a one owner bike from here in California. Everything on it is original except for the new parts listed below. The bike was taken down to bare frame & engine, and thoroughly restored with the following work: -The rear wheel was disassembled and brake drum surface sanded out, brake shoes serviced -Front master cylinder and brake caliper were both rebuilt with all new seals and flushed with all new brake fluid -New Yokohama Shinko 712 series tires and tubes -Carburetors were disassembled, thoroughly cleaned and rebuilt with new kits from K&L Supply -New fuel lines and fuel filters -New fuel petcock -Front forks were taken apart, all old oil and corrosion cleaned out, refilled with new fork oil and fitted with new oil seals, fork legs were buffed free of all oxidation / corrosion -New WPS O-ring 530 drive chain -Brand new Motion Pro throttle and clutch cables -New Castrol 4T engine oil, Emgo oil filter, NGK spark plugs and plug boots -New clutch and brake levers, new clutch cable adjuster and lever pivot bolt -Brand new WPS battery -Ignition points were sanded and serviced, ignition timing set to correct factory spec, engine valve clearances also adjusted to correct factory spec. Starts instantly when cold and has tight throttle response -All electrical was sorted and cleaned connector by connector. All switches and lights work perfectly, charging system works perfectly. -Full safety check tightening of all bolts, all necessary locking pins in place It fires up and runs perfectly, and it comes with a fully transferable 60 day warranty through Vintage Archive if you live in Southern California.
