Up for auction is our 1998 Chevy Silverado 3500 series 4x4 dually pickup truck, it's an extended cab. Truck is equipped with a 7.4L gas engine and an automatic transmission, it has 111,470 actual miles on it. Maroon exterior with no signs of prior collision damage, all factory paint. Maroon cloth interior is in good shape as well as a color matching Leer hi-top cap over its 8 foot bed. Fully loaded with power: windows, locks, mirrors and drivers seat, also has tilt wheel, cruise control, Am/Fm/Cassette/C.D player and Anti -lock brakes. This truck also has air conditioning, and all the components are there, but it is not working. All other electical features work as they should, all guages function correctly. 4 new Cooper Discoverer ATR radial tires, also NEW in the last 4 months,: Water pump, antifreeze flush and fill, front stabilizer bar links, oil and filter change, front steel brake lines, spark plugs,wires,cap and rotor. **PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING** : This truck was used up until a few weeks ago as a daily driver and can be driven home by the winning bidder if they choose to do so, it has some cosmetic and mechanical issues that I will honestly address now. Body: has a fair amount of rust which is mostly limited to rockers and lower areas of extended cab (see pictures), rear bumper also showing rust. Hood, front fenders, both doors, bed and tailgate are virtually rust free showing very little to no rust in these areas. Extended cab area on passenger side has 2 dents, 1 fairly large and passenger side door has a small dent toward rear of door, down low. Windshield has a crack in it, drivers side, not leaking. ENGINE; runs but has a miss. Late last year truck developed a miss, we presumed it was plugs or plug wires so a couple months ago we took it in for a tune-up, $330.00 dollars later we still have the miss (have reciepts), subsequent compression test shows low compression on #2 cylinder( passenger side front) not a dime more was spent trying to determine why. Engine doesn't leak anything, no funny noises, not an oil burner, uses no antifreeze, check engine light is not on. Transmission shifts great, no leaks. Brakes: New front steel lines, rear has a slow leaking wheel cylinder. Brakes aren't great but will get you stopped the way they are. Frame: Solid, and in good shape. 4 WHEEL DRIVE WORKS FINE.
