Vehicle Detail

It was originally a 340 black car with auto trans and console. Been converted to race car. Has mild steel roll cage tig welded into it. Has subframe connectors. Has dana 60 with 4.10 gears. Full manual reverse pattern auto trans from Mancini racing, Turbo action 3800 rpm convertor. 440 engine. 10.5 compression ratio Keith Black reverse dome pistons. Mopar 590 lift 312 duration solid cam. Stage 4 Direct connection heads with oversize stainless steel valves, aluminum roller rockers, lash caps and titanium retainers. Engine was balanced. 7-8 quart oil pan. Hooker super competition headers. 3 " exhaust to the back with edlebrock stainless steel race mufflers. Superstock springs installed with offset spring hangers. Have superstock rear shocks for it but they don't fit over the lower mount stud. Mopar said I had wrong shock... but they have the right part number....no idea why they don't fit. Front end rebuilt with urethane bushings. .Have 5 point harness, driveshaft loop, and transmission shield. With adjustable drag shocks on the front. Drum brakes 3 " wheels studs. Manual brakes. Has holley programmable multi spark ignition. Have a real nice straight rust free flat hood that goes with. Bumpers aren't perfect but nice for a driver or race car. Has fiberglass front fenders. Please ask any questions or for more pics. . There is no heater box or heater core. It was built for fun. Can get lien release on title when paid for. Might still have original trunk lid but it was drilled for trunk pins. On Jul-02-15 at 23:38:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Was looking at it again because of some questions. Haven't worked on it in 7 years or so. Has the Holley pro Strip Annihilator ignition. The one box my shop cats must have walked over it and the plastic part of plug got cracked up.. wires still look ok. Will put battery in it in the morning to make sure it still works. The one box is mounted on dash just because it needed to be grounded when I took it to the other shop to have cage installed. Wanted to be able to drive it on and off the trailer. I had the other box mounted in the glove box. Adding a few more pics. One thing I forgot to mention it has gauges that mounted under the dash cause I didn't trust the originals in the dash. And one thing forgot to mention It does have dual oxygen sensors an gauges for each side of header. I was running a six pack on it and heard they were hard to tune.... pffft.. Was nice to be able to see each oxygen gauge for each side of engine. Beats pulling plugs to geek at them. Didn't have to tune the six pack set up in over 10,000 miles. Added pics of o2 sensors and subframe connectors... running out of pics on ebay. Drove this car on Hotrods Power Tour in 98 and was a long hauler... drove from Montana to California to Detroit and back to Montana in about 14 days... it was fun. Put on Polished torker intake cause I was going to install my supercharger and water injection but got to busy. Way it goes. On Jul-03-15 at 15:33:51 PDT, seller added the following information: I put a battery in it to test ignition, it still works. Engine just needs carb and alternator to run. I have aluminum fuel cell for it but no fuel pump. I just ran electric fuel pump no mechanical fuel pump on it. On Jul-04-15 at 09:03:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Last night a friend came over with a holley 750 carb . Bolted it on. Filled carb with gas and it fired right up after 8 years sitting idle.... sweet. Didn't run it long. No alternator on car which has same belt to run water pump. Was nice hearing it run after years of sitting idle. :) Last four pictures were taken back in 1998. Engine currently has 4 barrel intake and no carb. I do have a carb on it now... I took a vid of engine running last week. Have a lot more pictures but ebay only lets you post 24. I do have pictures on a photo hosting site. On Jul-13-15 at 15:00:16 PDT, seller added the following information: Along with the fuel cell, I have roll of 1/2 aluminum fuel line, Currently has 3/8 front to back, Have big box of new anodized fittings for braided lines, and Russel fuel filters, y blocks. 10,8 and 6 to plumb the carb. On Jul-13-15 at 17:58:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Engine has Total Seal gapless rings. Block was drilled and tapped for 1/2" hemi pickup tube. Lifter valley was polished smooth to help oil return. One of the front oil plugs behind the timing chain was drilled with tiny hole to help keep double roller chain lubed and last longer. Oil slinger on crank doesn't sling enough oil on the chain imo. The four barrel holley on car right now does not go with car. It was loaner so I could get video of engine running. Floors and trunk are not rusty prior owner started to build it into race car. He pulled carpet out long time ago and must have kept it inside most of the time. So it had no carpet in it to hold moisture and rust the floor. I have owned car since the mid-late 90s and have always stored it inside. Except when driving to car shows. I have new black carpet for it. Might just be for the front though will check again tonight. On Jul-13-15 at 19:37:43 PDT, seller added the following information: Looked again tonight. Have new carpet but its just for the front. I didn't plan on putting in a backseat. Thought I had a passenger factory seat for it buts its just another drivers side seat. Does come with a poly high back race bucket. Its like new... but I took it out... factory seats are more comfortable for driving all day in the heat.On Jul-15-15 at 21:24:53 PDT, seller added the following information: Did some digging in my cave... found more parts. Found the rear valance panel for it that was on the car. Its not as bad as I remembered. Still usable for street strip car. But it has dings dents and some wrinkles. Fixable if you want to spend time doing it. Ok for a driver or race car. I was just going to put on a repro one. Found second black bucket poly race seat with aluminum brackets to mount to floor. One of the seats I trimmed down the aluminum and drilled it to mount factory bucket seat slider mounts to it so it was right height and it would slide back an forth with the side lever. Slider mount doesn't come with it. It has to go back on my other car. One of the seat cover needs some stitching near a rivet... other seat has perfect cover but missing snap on seat to snap it to. Look at the pics. Still nice seats. So two poly race buckets with aluminum mounts goes with car and one factory driver bucket seat. Could not find a spare passenger seat. Uploaded pictures to photobucket if you want to geek at more pictures of the car. I can send a link not sure if ebay will let me post link to photobucket for peeps to see more pics.. they are funny that way. Still looking for the trunk lid that came with car. I cant find it But I don't remember throwing it away. They make repros and fiberglass ones. Please ask for more pictures or info. I have good feedback. Due to first auction not working out due to new user with 0 feedback and 0 transactions and id created in last 48 hours of auction I am reserving the right to sell to the next lowest bidder if they fail to pay deposit within 24 hours or fail to contact me or respond to my emails. Really sucks when new user throws in bid and does not carry through with transaction. Car can be viewed in person. And it can be fired up for them to hear. Or I can send link to vid of engine running. I do my best to keep 100% positive feedback. Been on ebay 15 years... not cool when new users throw out bids and ties up your action for 10 days. And peeps with 0 feedback have no repercussions to them. Thank you. Sorry about my rant... ;)On Jul-19-15 at 23:58:24 PDT, seller added the following information: Did more digging in my parts. Still no trunk lid. Maybe I did toss it. It had repro rear wing that didn't match my other cudas trunk lid for bolt holes. Had lightweight plastic repro wing not fiberglass. and holes didn't jive with my other factory rear trunk lid. So maybe I tossed it since holes were in wrong place. Still have the old wing but its aftermarket crap and needs to be helicoiled to use again. And wouldn't want to drill a repro rear decklid to put it on. Forgot to mention car does have digital trans temp gage... put it in because I thought high stall converter would make more heat. Old converter trans temp was around 185-195. Now has better turbo action 3800 converter. But haven't driven it since new one was put in. So no idea what the trans temp will be. Should be more efficient than the other I was running. Dynamic and Turbo action make nice convertors and many racers like them.On Jul-21-15 at 22:11:56 PDT, seller added the following information: Went over tonight to take more pics of underneath and inside the car. Some peeps don't believe its not rusted out. They don't salt the roads here and I kept it inside all the time I have had it. We only get like 11 inches of rain a year. Have Almost 100 pics of it on my photobucket site. Just ask and I will send you the link to view it. Thought I still had holley blue fuel pump in it. Forgot it leaked and had to toss in a red street one. Might still work. Found the original tank that was in it and the straps. Original gas tank does have some pinholes in the top. But would work to drive it up on a trailer. Just needs a carb to drive it on trailer and alternator to run water pump have a spare battery just to drive it up on a trailer if need be. But battery doesn't go with car. . Has 3 core radiator. Grill is in way better shape than I remembered. Only has two small cracks visible from outside. A 1 1/2" one in the center lower part of grill and a 2" one near passenger headlight bucket. If winning bidder falls through again... going to swap this grill with another one I have before relisting it. This grill should be on my other one. Thank you.On Jul-21-15 at 23:13:14 PDT, seller added the following information: It does have a deep pan on transmission. A couple things it does need is new oil dipstick tube. The ear to bolt it to header or manifold broke off. Does need taller valve covers. I was running the tall mopar finned black ones and after checking lash on the solid cam an ear broke off the black mopar finned covers. Had to put on the gold Morroso covers. Only spares I had at time. Bad thing they were too short to clear the special aluminum roller rockers for the stage 4 heads. Had to peen and dimple one end of them late at night to make car show. and they are so thin they cracked from the peening. Had to use a little silicone to seal the crack to make car show next day. They work. But it does need new tall valve covers. Just being honost and trying to think of anything else it needs. Please ask any questions have almost 100 pictures on photo hosting site. Don't want anyone to be disappointed. Thank you. Time for sleep.
