Details and a link to many more pics to be added to this auction later this evening, so check back in the morning! On Jul-12-15 at 22:51:44 PDT, seller added the following information: OK ebayers, here's the description I promised earlier tonight when I posted this auction. My brother-in-law bought this Mercedes for my niece's 16th birthday last month. Let's just say the car wasn't as warmly received as he'd hoped for. My niece is a great girl, not at all spoiled ... but she said she'd rather NOT start driving than be forced to drive this "old lady car", as she put it. I totally get what Josh (bro-in-law) was trying to do - he just wanted to put as safe a car as his budget would allow into his daughter's novice hands. Now it sits in my warehouse with no one to love it, taking up space that I'm going to need in a few weeks. It's got a clean title in Josh's name and is ready to drive off with the highest bidder. Don't forget to check out the carfax I put in the final 3 pages of the ebay hosted pics ... it shows a 100% Southern California history with no accidents. Since I only pulled it about 50 feet into the warehouse, here's what Josh emailed me about the car: Chris, notes for the MB auction: the s-class runs and drives just fine. I drove it about 100 miles back to the desert from LA and it's a great highway cruiser. Didn't heat up when I got stuck in stop and go LA traffic either. I put a new battery in it and Theo at Bavarian Auto fixed the rear window. He also did a basic mechanical inspection and said that it's clearly been well maintained and should make a great daily driver. It definitely needs tires, though, and the A/C only blows cool, not cold. Also the radio is missing it's faceplate, but it may be under one of the seats. I'll check for it when I come over to do the pics. The seats are the best part of this car, BTW. The leather is still soft and there's virtually no wear at all, not even on the driver's seat. No dash cracks, either. Quite amazing for 200K miles. Really, the whole interior is near flawless. Someone McGyvered the center console lid, but aesthetically it's not too bad a fix. The paint is all original and shows pretty well, especially if you're standing back from it a bit. Up close you can see plenty of nicks and age marks. As you know I had that detailer come over and steam clean the entire interior, but I never got around to buffing out and polishing the paint like I'd planned. I'll take a pic of that strange crease at the top of the driver side fender; be sure to include it in the auction. It's the only glaring flaw on the car that I can see. This dent didn't really bother me because the rest of the car was so nice and I fully expected Brianna to be adding several more! It's probably an inexpensive fix, hopefully it won't turn off too many bidders. And here are the rest of the pics - I think there's 80+ in all:
