On Jul-09-15 at 14:49:58 PDT, seller added the following information: Attention: Digging through a small box of parts that came with the car I noticed SS badging and One fender trim piece I looked on the aluminum trim piece between the tail lights and noticed the two holes are there for the SS badge I noticed on the front fenders the holes are there for the fender trim piece The 5th character of the Vin# is H which = chevy 350 with 2 barrel carb The Cowl tag TR 753 indicates Black vinyl Bench or Bucket Seats Custom Order....... The A51 indicates bucket seats....... 68 B PNT = Midnight Bronze with black vinyl top.... It was not until the 1973 Nova that the 5th character in the vin # "K" represented if it was a true SS car 1972 Nova's and older......... no one can tell if it is a true SS car unless you have the factory build sheet......the vin # and cowl tag does not identify if it was an SS carThere are more SS Nova's on the road today that were factory produced Having said that, I think this car was ordered with the SS trim package......however no one can be sure, as there is no factory build sheet .......possible though On Jul-10-15 at 23:00:44 PDT, seller added the following information: Correction;1968 - 1971 Nova's no one can tell if it is a true SS car unless you have the factory build sheet......the vin # and cowl tag does not identify if it was an SS carIt was not until the 1972 Nova that the 5th character in the vin # if it is the letter "K" represented the L48 350 4bbl engine which = a true SS car This car has the power assist disc brakes, which according to the "Web" was part of the SS package along with the black pate rear trim plate and SS badge, which this car has. Here's what he had to say. Thanks a million! If those are real 72 nova buckets there worth money,don't know if you are aware. Almost impossible to get the tracks or seats. Could get at least $1000 for them from the right buyer if not more..I ended up buying seat tracks from a 73 Vega which were identical to the 73 nova. they are the closest tracks to the 1972.they look the same to me.height might be 1/2" different. thanks for the help.
