This restored 1953 Autoette was produced in Long Beach, Ca in the early 50's. Anyone living in this area during that period can attest to the fact that they were everywhere. they were powered by a 24V (four 6V batteries) system. The lights have not been wired, but would only need a voltage drop system. It has three speeds achieved by three positions on an electrical contact switch. Top speed is probably around 15 miles/hour. It has only three wheels, so caution is needed around corners.. A great running car, great for swap meets or car shows. A real attention getter and fun to drive.
