Up for auction is my 2003 Mercedes-Benz SLK-230 Kompressor (supercharged), black-on-black. Clear title! Car is for sale as I am preparing to move back to MA. I have taken excellent care of this car in the year that I have owned it, including new serpentine belt, full transmission service, new Bosch platinum spark plugs, new fuel filter in May of 2014. New front and rear brakes (rotors and pads) in August 2014. Oil has been changed every 3k – 5k miles. Receipts will be provided. After-market CD/Stereo with bluetooth. All work has been performed by Mercedes-Benz specialist shops. Never been in an accident. Will provide Carfax report on request. The car currently needs some attention. The convertible top works but needs front locking latches. The top opens and closes, but the small rear windows will not come back up because of the latches. I have a quote for approx. $1000 from a Mercedes-Benz specialist in Van Nuys for parts and repair of the top. Missing the small cellular antenna cap on the trunk. Some paint fade on the top edge of the driver’s side door and rear quarter (see photos). Occasionally(rarely) the engine does not turn over, although battery and starter are all fine. This has been resolved by using the spare key (seems to be a key or ignition issue). Those are the only issues with this car. The engine and transmission are strong and the car runs and handles very smoothly. Extremely fun car to drive. Vehicle is priced for quick sale, and reflecting the work that needs to be done.
