up for sale is a 1947 ford 2 door sedan. this car is in its original form. it runs and drives (it moves under its own power but wouldn't recommend driving down the road due to needing breaks and the throttle cable needing to be hooked back up to the gas pedal). i was very surprised at how well the motor runs. its fires up and runs real smooth. it is a 3 speed manual on the column. still goes in and out of gear well. the original interior is still with the car as you can tell in the pics. there are many trim pieces and other parts that come with the car, bumpers, door panels, lights, door handles, etc. the body on the car is pretty solid. there are a few rust spots but not terrible. it can be patched up. the main areas are bottom right rear fender and bottom passenger door. and the front floor board insert needs to be replaced. it pops out and would be an easy replacement part to find and be like new. the frame still seems to be in good shape. not rusted out. just surface rust. the steel wheels still look good and are true. this car is a great representation of what old classic cars are supposed to be. with limited time and resources this car could be driving down the road with no problems. some body work and paint, interior redone and some mechanical tuning this would be a really nice solid car to cruise around in. i have a clean pennsylvania title for the vehicle ready for the next owner. i took several pics so you know what you are bidding on. please consider the age and the potential of this car while you are bidding. thanks and God Bless America. i can provide help delivering the car within a reasonable distance if needed. i would charge a small fee based on how far i would have to drive.
