The Good: I drive my Valiant almost every day and have driven it on long day trips with no problems. Reliable - always starts. Good acceleration, good cruiser, and has kick down "passing gear". Interior is clean. Seats are covered with a cloth factory upgrade, very comfortable. Minor rust, as shone. Has terrific ventilation with two wing vents and two large under-dash air vents. Power steering, power brakes, AM/FM radio, heater and defroster work very well, all lights work, wipers work, dash and gauges all work, and lap belts all around. About 58,000 actual miles (speedometer cable was off for a while). Put a pair of like-new Goodrich tires on the front 5/27. The paint job is adequate. The Bad: The brakes are working fine, but will need work soon. My mechanic estimates about $900 at that point. Calipers and rotor replacement for the most part. I am lowering my price to cover that amount. ($5200 - $900 = 4300). Also, the headliner is in poor shape. Extras: I have the original wheel treatments (I believe there were also chrome rings), two side emblems, dash unit, five Plymouth key blanks, working jack, and owners guide and manual.
