My Dad purchased this vehicle in the mid sixties from someone in our hometown. He had a nice paint job put on the car using one of the original color choices from 1931. He also had the seats recovered. This car has always been garaged. The gas tank has been removed and sealed. I do not know the actual mileage. I think the speedometer was changed along the way. This car was never driven much and has been driven very little since 1974. And only then when I would come to town and my Dad would ask me to take it out for a spin. It has been sitting idle since 2006 until I recently decided to put it back on the road. I have installed a new battery, ignition coil, coil wire, points, condenser, and plug wires. I am selling the my old homeplace and have decided not to take this vehicle with me.On Jun-21-15 at 18:49:59 PDT, seller added the following information: I have changed the engine oil. And had the transmission and rear differential drained and filled back up with new fluid. Flushed the gas tank and put new no ethanol gas in it. I have been driving the car around town on 35 and 45 mph max speed streets. And I have had a great time doing it. You cannot drive it around without someone blowing the horn and waving at you. It cranks and runs good. Nothing needs to be done to start driving and enjoying this Model A that I am aware of. I have manuals and some extra parts I am including with the car. I may even have an exhaust manifold heater.
