Highly Collectible Rare Honda Accord in Good Shape; Running with 4 speed Auto.Classic 1983 Honda Accord with good running 4 cylinder Front Wheel Drive with the much sought after 4 speed automatic transmission providing a great gas saver at low price. The car comes with a brand spanking new full set of excellent rated tires with less than 30 miles on them, valued at $350; as I bought them so new buyer would be ready to roll. The engine has been serviced including new head gasket, new water pump, new radiator, new timing belt, new intake manifold gasket, new torque motor mount and had the “head” valves reconditioned prior to install. Comes with Honda Shop Manual which is a hundred dollar manual which tells you almost everything about this vehicle and is great to have. The Transmission works with no known issues and is a very good design and much sought after model. Has had prior rebuilt alternator and starter installed which I verified by attached stickers on units. This is the best year and best model of coveted classic Honda Accords available and getting very rare in this condition so it should go up in value as time goes by. It's been modified with an aftermarket Performance Gas Saving “Weber” carburetor with new air filter to boot. Exhaust appears in very good shape with hardly any rust and comes with catalytic converter still installed. Air conditioning, power brakes, power steering all appear to be functional with only a can of recharge needed for AC most probably but does blow cool air. Heater works along with rear defroster, windshield wipers work, and all lights and turn signals work. The interior and trunk are in good condition with a crack free dash as noted in pictures. The body on this accord has very, very, and I mean very little rust anywhere. The paint's original but in generally good condition for year with only few blemishes such as slight fading, small nics, small dents, one repair to trunk lid, and clear coat missing. I just washed car before photos it needs waxed and buffed to hold that shine you see in pictures. All the windows work with manual window cranks which means less to go wrong and so does trunk and fuel levers. This is a simple easy to maintain vehicle without all the complicated engine stuff of modern vehicles and it's in relatively great shape for it's age as noted in pictures. All Gauges and warning lights work; but rpm gauge just slightly jumpy. Just a little smoke from exhaust at start up which is related to being carbureted engine rather than troublesome and complicated fuel injection system. Clock works and comes with nice working aftermarket CD player installed with USB port; I haven't tested USB. Appears to be non smoker whom owned it before me as ash tray is glued in and lighter is nonfunctional but both can be quickly brought up for use if needed. This is the best year of all rare classic collectible Honda Accords you can find with acclaimed 4 speed automatic transmissions that last for a very long time. Just a few things to tighten up and you got a great classic car which will appreciate in value. Not only is that the gas you will save driving this classic; low cost insurance will be a good thing to consider also as you shop for car. The vintage Accords have very simple and easy engines to work on, with lots of parts available at good prices. If your wondering why I am selling car; because my family has medical bills, not because I want too, or there is some hidden problem. Heck do the math all new tires, new parts, running engine, good body, and it's a Honda - well worth the money I am asking and I won't take a dime less. Also this listing comes with a full shop manual included in listing for free which is for the year and model of Honda. The tires are brand spanking new just had them installed for the listing. Look up on the internet about this year 1983 and all the awards and accolades it's gotten along the path to making it such a good vehicle. Also the body on this one is very clean with only minor imperfections as you would expect in a car of this year. Got two keys for you when you pick it up and clear title. No liens on vehicle! For the record a few items that will need addressed: -Brakes are in working condition, but are due for new set of pads and servicing, but you can still drive car till you have time. -Shocks worn out , nothing appears broken in strut mounts; they do work not like new however can still drive car. -Fuel pump is weak but works should be replaced for best performance but runs and drives. -Some Oil Residue on lower block "probably from head gasket leak which was repaired". No oil spots on floor in garage! You can still drive car just need to clean the engine.
