Selling our Dad's 1964 Plymouth Fury, the "Blue Beauty". Sad to see it go. 1964 Plymouth Fury 2 Door Hardtop 8-cyl. 318 cid/230hp 2bbl Body Style 2S Class A. VIN number is 344H88630 1964 PLYM Update/New Info: The engine was rebuilt in 2001 and has only had 50,000 miles on it since the rebuild (our Dad pointed out that we missed this important fact in the original posting)! Automatic transmission. Blue exterior. Blue interior. Original color. All original parts including original dash, steering wheel. Redone interior upholstery. Repairs over the years have used original parts whenever possible. This car has been owned by one person since it was purchased in 1967. Car has 421,000 miles on it but the engine was fully rebuilt in 2001 with only 50,000m since the rebuild. Starts right up. Driven everyday up until it developed a transmission problem a few weeks ago. Transmission was replaced 10 years ago. Currently at a excellent transmission repair shop in Silver Spring, MD who "knows" this car and this transmission. Not currently drive-able (transmission was pulled by expert and is currently in trunk). We were quoted $1875 to repair transmission. (We have already paid him $400.00. He will completely rebuild this transmission for $1475.00 for anyone who buys the car). Some wear and tear on interior, notably rugs, and right door panel and rusting and a hole on the lower firewall on both the passenger and driver's side and scattered minor rust on the vehicle body. The body was beautifully fixed up of rust damage in 2013, with the lower firewall being a place that was missed and still has holes. Has been modified to include belt-only seat belts. Replaced rusted side panels on both sides in 2013. Small amount of rust under hood and under car. (See photos). Detailed records of work done on vehicle going back over the years available upon request. Been going to the same mechanic for 20+ years. Sold as is. Buyer must pick up.
