Up for sale is this pristine 1965 Mustang Convertible. This car has been striped to bare shell and built back up using all new parts per factory specification. It’s more of a purist’s car made to look as good as it did when it rolled down the assembly lane in 1965 with few exceptions and upgrades. Rotisserie restored undercarriage, flawless body and paint, new or restored everything. Color changed from light blue to this vibrant red with black interior - truly stunning, most universally liked combination. The factory original 4 speed manual was upgraded to modern 5 speed for better drivability and gas mileage. The original C code engine has been rebuilt and upgraded to GT specification with 4bbl intake and carburation. It came with the rally pack already and was finished with full GT package including front power disk brakes, fog lights, dual exhaust, rocker stripe and emblems. I’m documenting and selling the car for my friend, the owner. He had the car professionally restored and it took almost 2 years from start to finish {2013-2014}. He’s extremely busy with running number of business and decided to put the car for sale after one season of use. I will handle all communication, negotiating and showing on his behalf until buyer steps up, at which point he’ll be present for the actual payment and title transfer. The car is registered and insured in CA in his name, has clear title. Truly a gorgeous, investment grade collectible in perfect condition. Won’t be disappointed. All new chrome including the quarter vent windows assemblies. Power disk brakes and power steering, power convertible top. New wheels, tires, interior etc... Like new condition. I would not be putting my feedback on the line if it wasn't. This is not a fire sale. The right buyer has to step up to be able to buy this car. Don’t ask questions like: “ Will you take…?” Real buyer will call me to discuss particulars. I will not negotiate over the phone if you are local.
