This Impala has a vintage look and retains much of the original charm. Equipped with factory Power Steering, Power Brakes, Air Condition, and (appears to be) era correct 327 V8 with a Powerglide Automatic Transmission. You are not viewing a frame off restored 100 point AACA Senior award winning showpiece. This is just a nice, clean, very presentable, good running driving classic car that is very solid, turnkey, and enjoyable immediately! I purchased the Chevy from a family estate, so I am limited to the prior knowledge or history about the car. The paint is White, and of a Maaco quality. But shines at any angle. No rust bubbles or issues. There are imperfections in the finish, as understandable with an older driver quality vehicle, but as you can see from the photos, presents very well. In other words, you could still win a few trophies at local car cruises. It had been repainted about 12 years ago. The Undercarriage, Frame, Floor & Trunk Pan are extremely clean, very solid, straight, and rust free. No holes, rust, or issues. Undercoat is present, but a very thin layer which is consistent with a factory or dealer application. Car rides, drives, and handles surprisingly well for what it is. Straight and smooth down the road with no shimmy’s, shakes, or vibrations. Extremely tight and again easy to drive with the power brakes and power steering. The engine fires right up and has that distinct sound of a Small Block Chevy with Flowmaster Mufflers. Make no mistake, she will get up and go! The acceleration will surprise you! The Automatic Transmission shifts as it should. Headlights, brake & tail lights, blinkers, gauges, and windshield wipers function properly. The Factory Air Condition Blows Ice Cold. It’s now running on 134A. The interior has a great clean look that compliments the car perfectly and shows very well. No rips, tears, or issues in the seats or door panels. Carpet is new. Title shows no mileage as it was purchased new in 1964. Now I know what everyone is thinking. What does it need? Well, pulling this car out of storage for a number of years, I addressed any issue I came across to make it a reliable roadworthy driver.
