Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1967 Mustang Fastback. C code 289, now has a '69 302 w/C4 auto, power steering. Car has been sitting in a dry garage and not driven for the past 12 years. Brought it home, drained the old gas, blew out the lines, dropped a battery in and it started right up. Runs and drives great, C4 shifts great, manual drum brakes all around and they pull to the left a bit. Put new shoes on the front, may need a left front wheel cylinder. Interior in great shape with no rips or tears in the seats, non-fold down rear seat (it does fold but has to be unbolted). Interior panels need a repaint as they are a bit faded, but 100% complete. Mice found there way in and chewed a hole in the headliner above the passenger visor. Does not smell good. Everything on the car, lights, accessories, etc work as they should. Aftermarket stereo, have the original am radio. Shocktowers and front framerails in great shape, was told the car was drag raced in the past, there was a passenger side front torque box added and the side of the rail inside the box is rusty, the other side of the rail (where the idler arm bolts up) is perfect, would need a new frame rail extension or just a patch. Driver front torque box is very nice. Driver rear torque box is toast along with 8-10 inches of the rail, must be fairly common as they sell the torque box w/small section of rail attached that is needed to repair this. Passenger rear torque box is better, but will need some work also. Hole in driver rocker near rear torque box. Floors are solid and in great shape. The front inner fender panels have been replaced (I think) and were seam welded along the shocktowers instead of spot welded. I have not looked every inch of this car over, but overall it is solid. May need minor patchwork in other places. Body is in very good shape with a few spots showing on the door corners. Has had rear quarters replaced at some point and they are very nice, trunk floors are perfect. Has an older paint job that is not very good, lots of chips/scratches. Drivers rear frame rail extension replaced, passenger side a little soft but solid. Overall this is a pretty solid car that runs and drives good. Car sold as is. Clear title in my name.
