Vehicle Detail

This is a recent relist of an unsold item. The reserve wasn't reached. It only fell a few dollars short. I have lowered the reserve and drastically lowered the buy it now from $6,000 to $4,500. This is such a beautiful custom motorcycle, and someone should have it in the wind. This old school custom build is virtually a brand new bike. It has a complete rebuilt 1971 CB350 motor and transmission. All new seals, bushings, bearings, rollers and gaskets. Power plant has about 5 miles on it since completion of build. The frame is a cleaned up 1974 CB360 front hoop with a one off hard tail grafted to it. It's stance is that of a vintage 60's bobber. It is titled as a 1974 CB350 in the state of NC. The title is clean and clear. North Carolina has the motor number listed with it as well. The purple metal flake and candy paint was laid down by Rair Air Werks in Wilmington North Carolina. All of the black is powder coating. No spray here. Gloss on the frame, fork legs, triple trees, handlebars, tag bracket, foot controls, side stand, kicker arm, rims, hubs, brake drums etc. Matte textured high heat on motor, tranny and exhaust pipes. This stuff is high quality and on for the long haul. All electrics and battery are hidden under tank or in a one off battery box. The box is an old tool case that used to house a 3/8" Skill (brand) drill. It is set up with a battery tender pig tail for easy battery maintenance if you don't ride it much. All wiring follows the color coding and schematics for Harley Davidson motorcycles. Sorry, that's what I know. This bike is kick and electric start. It's a one to two kicker when it's cold. I usually give it one or two small prime kicks and then give it a go. There is really no need for the electric starter. This is literally the easiest street motorcycle I've ever kick started. Front end - 1970 CB350Grips - Reproduction Triumph Headlight - Bates style with incorporated high beam switch Leavers - Black motocross Speedometer - Mini Wheels - 1971 CB350 rims and hubs with new chrome spokes and purple dice valve caps Chain - Purple motocross Tail light - Original new old stock cat face Pegs - 1960's metal flake bicycle grips Carburetors - Original Keihin carbs re-jetted for more air. K&N cone filtersSeat - Justified Defiance purple flake on chrome springsFuel tank - 1972 CB350 molded for cleaner look. Fully lined with bladder system. This tank will never rust.Front Fender - None (custom fork brace)Rear Fender - Narrowed flat trailer fender The only negative is that it is missing a speedometer gear. I'm an honest seller, so I must disclose. It's a small gear that goes down in the front wheel hub. It doesn't take any specialty tools for instalation. Just simply pull off the front wheel, open the brake drum up and drop it in. At the time of build completion, I couldn't locate one. Now, for some reason they are all over ebay.
