Selling my 1988.5 Suzuki Samurai. NO RESERVE high bidders wins!!! I have sold a few Land Cruisers and various 4x4's here on eBay with 100% satisfaction so bid with confidence. The 1988.5 model year is significant because the Samurai was re-tuned for better on-road use here in the US. This revision included softer suspension settings and a larger anti-sway bar. A lower 5th gear increased engine RPM and power on the highway and improved dashboard and seats made the Sammy more comfortable. This Samurai has been a California car since new and has been kept 100% original. Very are to find one without modifications. Even the radio is original and I think the spare tire dates back to 1988. It has ZERO rust and the paint is original as well with some clear coat fade in a few areas (on the hood and fender flares) but is in good shape otherwise. It does have small dent in the hood where the tow bar banged into it. It's been set up to tow behind an RV or a truck with a nice easily removable tow bar with 4-way flat wiring. I was told around half of the miles are tow miles but that's just an estimate. As you look at the photos you'll see just how original and well kept the Sammy is which makes it a blast to drive. Recent new items and maintenance (over the last year) include a new top, new wheels bearings including kingpin bearings and knuckle seals. Front brakes and rotors are new with new rear brakes shoes as well (the drums were in good shape). Brake fluid purged and replaced. New distributor cap, spark plugs and wires. All fluids changed out with new. It runs and drives awesome! Starts right up every time you crank it up. The 4x4 works great and shifts smooth. The heater and AC work great with cold AC but you rarely need it. It's got a tow package too if you feel like towing something but you only have a cool 63 horse power. The 5 speed tranny shifts smooth as well. It really needs nothing, just drive and enjoy. The interior is overall in really great shape though the rear seat has a little degradation of the top of the seat cover. And the rear seat anchor is missing but can found here on eBay for less than $50.00. It's been a great little SUV for running around town and going to the beach. Pulling it behind a truck or RV is a breeze and you get smiles and thumbs up from people every time you drive it. Better than an electric street legal golf cart in my opinion. As is where is sale.
